Xerukal
Does anyone know when underwater exploration is unlocked? I've been eager to obtain the Elite Hull plan. Sequence 6, Memory 1. I believe the game will ask you to gather some money for the purchase of the diving bell (During the memory). 5000R, if I remember correctly. Xerukal
For anyone who has it how cool does Captain Morgan's outfit look on Edward? I could post a picture, but I feel as if you don't want it spoiled. So I'll just say that it looks pretty fancy. Reminds me of Captain Hook's outfit of all things, lol. It has some silly socks, though. Edited November 30, 2013 by Xerukal
El Dildo
I always wear Templar or Mayan armor. usually Templar while sailing or pirating and Mayan on land. they look the best, by far. at least they're the most unique. the rest of the special outfits are just different colors of the same thing (explorer's, officer's, governor's). and I don't really like Edward the Legend outfit because the big fancy hat looks terrible. l also like Templar and Mayan since they're some of the only armor without a hood. Dr. John
http://steamcommunity.com/app/242050/discussions/0/666826703431812123/ I just read this topic in Steam forums and my heart is broken. I guess Ubisoft gives no sh*t about the PC Community. God damnit. Why they can't improve the PC Versions? Is there any law that PCs should be degraded at all cost. This is one of the main reasons why I hate these next-gen consoles. It pisses me off that they just come out for nothing but speaking about this "great different" than their predecessors. And the attitude of that producer saying "if the game is not running fast, you buy a bigger GPU". WTF?! This is just crazy. I had anticipated this game for my PC but it just tries really hard to put itself down. Thank you, Ubisoft. But otherwise, I hope you all guys are having fun with the game in your consoles. I guess I will just watch walkthroughs for this game. I doubt I will buy any other title of Ubisoft, including Watch Dogs.

I thought it was gonna be something I disliked, but it fits perfectly with this pistol and sword combo;
El Dildo
I'm just bored of hoods. we've had hoods for 10 years. every outfit in every Assassin's Creed game before now always had a hood and it was always up. I like how Edward sometimes takes his hood off during certain moments in the game when using one of the 'normal' armors. but I like it even more wearing the totally hood-less armor and seeing Edward the whole time. it just makes me feel more like a pirate because he looks more like a pirate with no hood. I understand. They added the dynamic hood system because it made sense for him to put it on during infiltration missions and normally have it off during naval sailing and such. However, they honestly should just add a button for "on/off" and be done with it. The beaked hood is an iconic thing for the series, seeing it go for this game is pretty disappointing. Even if it was in every game up until now, it would've been nice to get a sort of "Achilles outfit" of Black Flag. A well-designed outfit that is still pirate-like but leans assassin a bit more. Not to mention the hilarious Stealth outfit which is just... silly. I would've preferred something like what the assassins in Tulum wore. The white/black/red robes. Only an original, pirate-assassin spin to it. Edited November 30, 2013 by Xerukal
GunWrath
Played about an hours worth of this lat night, maybe 2 hrs.. and I thoroughly enjoyed it, it's pretty damned great though it's so detailed and brighter than the other AC's it seems to me.. if that makes any sense? Sometimes it makes it hard to focus on certain parts or especially countering because so much is going on.. About to jump on now and see if I can't get a bit further. Its pretty much the same as the other AC games since Brotherhood, this year they were going to add naval battles online but i heard it could not work with so many players so they scapped it, a shame really as it would have added some diversity to the multiplayer . Carbine23
So i got this game not expecting much since i was disappointed with Creed 3 (mainly cause Connor was a b*tch). Boy was i wrong. Loved this game. Probably my second favorite Creed to be honest. Edward is a great character and the game is extremely fun. Of course there are annoying missions and tasks you have to do but overall it's a fantastic Creed game. AC2 will always be my favorite though. I kind of forgot what brotherhood was like so i have to replay that again. Now i wonder what they'll do next. I'm hoping for Russian Revolution or Feudal Japan
Haha365
I think part of the charm, in Black Flag, is that they don't throw "your an assassin" on yor face all the time. Edward pretty much skirts the line, at least as far as I am. Profit and freedom are his motives.

You gain money and collectables, while unlocking new port cities. You can also engage in turn-based virtual battles, with ships you collect in your fleet. El Dildo
Anyways, I have some questions, Kenways fleet, what is it, and is it any good? Kenways Fleet cannot be used while you're on an illegal copy. it requires you to login to Ubisoft. so if you want to use it, you better buy the game. you'll never get 100% synch or all of the ship upgrades or armors or special weapons if you don't use Kenways Fleet. it's basically just the replacement for the Assassin's Brotherhood minigame that they removed. you remember how you used to recruit Assassins and send them on missions around the world to make money and earn experience? the Fleet is the exact same thing except with other pirate ships instead of assassins. El Dildo
after you get through sequence 4 or 5 or something, Edward gains the ability to capture ships that he's boarded and send them to his Fleet. if you want to have the best Fleet, I suggest getting your wanted level to max. the level 4 pirate hunters usually come at you with a Man O' War ship @ level 60; this is one of the strongest non-legendary ships in the game. they make the best addition to the Fleet. I wouldn't even waste captures on anything less than Frigates.

You put those in the speed slot and the Gunboat is done in one (two at most) shots. Haven't found any use for them outside of that though, lol. OMFGSolaX
The game is good, on my 2nd playthrough now. Though i have to say, i do like AC3 more. I don't know why, i really like pirate themed games, but i can feel that something from AC3 is missing in atmosphere.
JonnyVercetti
This is a great game! Weren't expecting it to be this good! I'm just in modern times ready to go back into the animus to start sequence 13. Guess the story is over soon, but that's okay because I have 30 thousand other things to collect and do afterwards! I'm disappointed with the outfits though.. I like the Mayan one but I don't like wearing outfits without the hoods it feels weird not having one.. Bit annoyed about the hunter outfit, I spent ages trying to find the red howler monkey skin to craft it, only to see that it's exactly the same as the pelt outfit just without the leopard skin on it. Come on!
El Dildo
I agree. the crafted outfits from animal pelts are all extremely boring. I don't understand why they're in the game at all. the only one that even does anything is the Hunter's garb which makes it easier to sneak up to animals before they notice you. but who cares? killing wild animals is incredibly easy. the crafted outfits are useless. I wish they'd include more / useful ones. JonnyVercetti
Creed Bratton
I wear Connor's outfit. It just looks so badass and I don't care if it breaks the lore. It's my favorite AC outfit.

The Shark/Whale hunter outfits are awesome, they look like something a pirate would wear. My only issue is the lack of a hood since a bunch of cut-scenes involve Edward putting up his hood. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|
rudy
I love the huge ass ship battles, they are so fun! Especially when you start sh*t in a crowded area in which both the British and Spanish cruise. I managed to sink the Ghost Ship and the Armored Beast. I tried facing the legendary ships and boy did they not hold back on those.
El Dildo
the Legendary ships are one of the best Naval features of the whole game. fighting them was so much fun that I really hope Ubisoft includes a patch someday where you can 'reset' the Legendary encounters and fight them again. if they don't, I'm going to have to start a new game soon just to enjoy some of those 'one time' moments again.
