Well I was going to start watching flash but hulu is f*cking retarded and for some reason only has from episode FOUR on, seriously? There's no reason for them to not have the first three episodes.... Guess I won't be watching that until it's on netflix too... f*ck HULU.

Id watch it anyway. You're not missing too much, story wise.

He's right though, you can just read the plot synopsis of the first few episodes. The show is worth watching, and the arc isn't very complex yet so now would be the time to hop on. As soon as the season is over, you know the CW will put the full season up on Hulu.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand cancelled!

"Guggenheim also said admitted, in an imaginary fight between Marvel’s hero and the star of his CW series, he thinks he’s “contractually obligated to say Green Arrow [would win], but my heart lies elsewhere.” Somewhere, Stephen Amell is frowning."

Edit: Talking about Daredevil and Green Arrow.

Nothing, IDredMan was just joking.

Guggenheim is a producer on Arrow and said he doesn't think Green Arrow could beat Daredevil. Which I agree with.

Pretty good episode. As a Prison Break fan, it was awesome to see the two main characters from that show be featured as this week's villains. I definitely wasn't expecting Eddie to start taking the Flash's side on things.

What the f*ck was that Space Ghost in Barry's backpack? Really? Jeez.

Also, this series would go a lot faster if the cops went with the "Shoot first" mentality when dealing with terrorists.

Ice gun doesn't work? BANG. Bullet in the head.

"Why do they call you people the" BANG. Bullet in the head.

Flash is still on top of it's game... It's awesome.

In the final scene with the Iron Heights van ...I just became a child again. I literally had my hands held up in expectation (Chest level) and slowly saying "Mark Hamill Trickster. Mark Hamill Trickster. MARK HAMILL TRICKSTER! ...sh*t."

I don't think there was a person watching who wasn't wondering why the police stood there and did absolutely nothing. I was thinking to myself "Where are the rooftop snipers?"

hmm yes it was a bit disappointing that cold's final epic plan was- "ok let's both walk down the middle of the street and go pew pew with our gunsies".. especially after their last meeting where he was smart enough to do the train thing. the writers need to get more imaginative with how the villains fight flash and vice versa. still, not a bad episode and i liked the prison break team up, i'm hoping it's just a mid season lull ep and the next one will do justice to the way ep 9 ended

They didn't use the Lazarus pit. Which I think was a good thing.

They'll obviously save that for Ra's.

Flash - Another good episode. I like how they're finally starting to show Wells with his powers, and the mystery surround him is continually growing more interesting each week. I was hoping that Hartley knew Wells' real secret and would start to reveal it, only for the doctor to silence him before he could finish. Speaking of Hartley, I could have sworn that it was Barry on the other line of his phone call to Wells, not him. Apparently, CW ordered 23 episodes for this first season, so we're not even halfway through yet and that kills me because I'm dying to be given some context about Reverse Flash sparing Eddie, the two streaks of lightning that were in Barry's living room that night, and of course everything about Wells. This show is excellent at baiting its audience to keep them interested, and I don't mind that one bit.

Arrow - I'm surprised to find that I'm almost starting to like Laurel. Sure, she really doesn't have any business going out there and making a fool of herself, but her reasons for doing it are understandable. Maseo (likely misspelled) is still a badass, though the whole handing over the deadly bio-weapon thing was a pretty dick move. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about Brick; he's a ruthless mob boss that blackmails others into working for him, and yet he feels generic and unimportant because of the fact that he's a filler villain until Oliver gets back. I was glad to see Roy discovered that Thea is indeed in contact with Malcolm because when he reveals that to Oliver, sh*t will hit the fan. As for the revelation that Verdant's DJ is actually working for the League, I did NOT see that coming, thinking he was only some generic love interest that existed only to fill the CW's romance quota.

I think what I'm most excited about is the fact that Slade will be returning in episode 14, which is in three weeks. I'm curious to see how they'll handle him. Will it only be for one episode? Has he been reduced to villain of the week material?

God damnit, Arrow. Just gimme the f*cking Atom. Pliz.

The first scene in Flash, with Wells actually standing up, getting a call from a vibrating voice... I so thought it was future Barry doing tornado arms.

For all Slade fans here, CW just released the synopsis for "The Return" which will be airing on February 18th.

“The Return” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

THE RETURN OF DEATHSTROKE AND TOMMY MERLYN — Malcolm (John Barrowman) puts Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Thea (Willa Holland) in a dangerous situation that lands them on Lian Yu with Oliver’s former enemy, Deathstroke (guest star Manu Bennett). A flashback reveals when Oliver and Maseo (guest star Karl Yune) returned to Starling City to retrieve the Omega bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) not to reveal himself to anyone, Oliver looks in on his family, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Tommy (guest star Colin Donnell). Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Erik Oleson (#314). Original airdate 2/18/2015.

http://comicbook.com/2015/01/30/arrow-the-return-synopsis-released----deathstroke-and-tommy-merl/

I also found this pretty handy compilation of all the post-credit scenes on The Flash. Might be a useful resource to help formulate some theories on the mystery of Wells.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COgznrCGQ94

Having just re-watched every episode, I am very confident that the following hypotheses are true:

-There are indeed two Reverse Flashes. The scene where RF is trapped in the force field in "The Man in the Yellow Suit" all but confirms this. The fact that RF is able to beat up Wells is sufficient evidence on its own.

-Eobard Thawne is the second Reverse Flash. You could argue that in the scene I just mentioned that the RF in that scene is a future version of Wells that came back in time to keep up his ruse, if not for one very important line of dialogue. "Detective THAWNE, would you like to read him his rights?" This one question proves a few things:

-Eobard is Eddie's descendant and was the one in the suit during that scene. The fact that Wells called Eddie by name was a tip-off to Eobard not to

harm him, so as not to endanger his very existence.

-Wells is not Eobard. Why would Wells tip himself off not to harm his ancestor? It makes no sense.

-Wells and Eobard are partners in crime. Wells wouldn't have mentioned Eddie's name had he not cared about Eobard, indirectly implicating that

he needs him alive.

-Well's powers are artificial and temporary. The post-credits scene in the latest episode heavily implies that he is reliant upon Tachyon particles for his speed, whereas Barry's powers don't drain over time (at least not yet). Also of note is that his wounds didn't heal that quickly.

Barry's interactions with his father were very touching. I don't know if it's just me being overly emotional lately, but... I dunno, I just really liked this week's episode more than average. =')

I'm usually completely against unnecessary average Joe deaths.

That always turned me off from DC. Random guards or workers or civilians or anyone would just always die so much. Even the Justice League TV show that wasn't allowed to show death just blew up an entire city just for the sake of finding a loophole of killing these people.

But I was hoping so badly that Mark Hamill Trickster would pop out and kill those two sewer workers at the end... Grodd was also great. Wouldn't have been as good as Mark Hamill Trickster but he's cool none-the-less.

I'm also glad that the Firestorm subplot is over.

With Grodd, Reverse Flash and the Rogues, the Firestorm plot would have been seriously outshined by all of those three.

Starling City, the only place where an army of armed henchmen holding loaded assault rifles will run face first into a mob of ordinary untrained pedestrians with melee weapons... And lose.

1, instead of shooting the car, Roy could have shot brick in the head with an arrow and ended it.

2, The ~20 that Brick had could have literally gunned them all down.

They totally brought Cindy back to f*ck everything up. They probably just called her and went "Hey, we need you to complicate the plot".

I laughed pretty hard when he gave a speech on top of the van.

And finally.

The showed acted like killing Brick is the worst thing ever and that Malcolm would be the devil if he did it.

Except for the fact that Brick's definitely gonna get a death sentence for dozens of homicide, domestic terrorism and gang affiliation.

I don't think we are done with Firestorm, the entire next episode seems to be dedicated to him/them.

Grodd looked great though, I had thought I heard he was going to be NEXT seasons main villain though, I wonder if this is just part of the slow burn approach to introducing him, making sure we don't forget he's down there... somewhere.
