Big fan of the Martian Manhunter stuff too, I hear Mrs. Martian will be in the next season and we'll get even more backstory.

 

 

Yeah, I enjoyed that as well.

 

Know what I hated though? That Win and Kara didn't become a 'thing' because writers still feel like perpetuating a specific trope at every opportunity.

Not confident at all in it. Although it looks like the marketing department knew enough not to show much Felicity. It sucks that the character has become the embodiment of this show's problems.

Don't expect Manu Bennett. This is gonna be just like that dream sequence Oliver had towards the end of season 4 with Deathstroke in it, nothing more than a few-second cameo.

 

Edit: Okay, now I'm cautiously optimistic about season five, which is saying a whole damn lot considering last season was garbage. Something about this new trailer just hit all the right notes for me.

It's just a trailer probably the first couple episodes will be good then they will go back to the terrible writing after the Winter break that's ruined this show for the past couple of seasons again.

So Flash Premiered and Flashpoint was not what anyone hoped. Although technically it could still happen. There are definite side effects going on.

 

My question is, will Barry now still have problems forgetting what was normal before the Flashpoint? I mean, he did change things back sort of, but they're still different.

Yeah, I think he did get his memories back because there was like a fast-forwarded clip of events from the first two seasons after Thawne stabbed Barry's mother and fixed the timeline. However, the timeline he's currently in has a twist to it about Iris, at least that's what was implied by the ending at the West's house. I think Eobard decided to f*ck with Barry a little bit as revenge for keeping him prisoner, so he probably killed or maimed someone in addition to Nora while he was in the past.

 

Also, looking forward to seeing Malfoy join the Arrowverse next week!

If they replace Komodo with Prometheus and do the Outsiders War story arc I don't know whether to be happy or sad. Happy because I love Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino's Green Arrow run. Love or hate the New 52, that was a fun and beautifully illustrated run. Hate it because they wasted Komodo on a one episode arc a couple seasons ago. Either way, Prometheus looks like f*cking Komodo, and nothing like he does in the comics.

 

And they can bring Katana back, since she's in it.

If this one episode of Supergirl featuring Superman was all the Superman we saw, that would be okay. He doesn't need to be in a lot of episodes. Just as much as he was in the last season, just show his face.

So season 1 had the particle accelerator creating the meta-humans, season 2 had Earth-2, and I guess this season Dr. Alchemy will be reawakening the powers of people who were meta-humans in the Flashpoint timeline. Solid episode tonight, Tom Felton is great. Seeing Cisco finally out fighting as Vibe was great. It seems like in this timeline Caitlin was affected by the particle accelerator, but has kept it secret for the past few years. I'm actually a bit surprised that they're not going to go back to the timeline from the end of season 2, like... ever. Dante being dead is pretty f*cked up, but I wouldn't be surprised if they found an excuse to save him.

I hope that this "Flashpoint" effects more things in Arrow. I think we all want more of that than Diggle having a son instead of a daughter. Maybe bring back Peter Stormare and doing Count Vertigo right.

Yeah I really hope the next episode is like that cancelled Green Arrow movie escape from Supermax and I'm still not liking Oliver's new team. Also I'm worried about the flashbacks we've only gotten snippets of his time in Russia and they might be half assing them again like they did with the ones from Season 4.

This week's Flash: Decent. Loved seeing Harry again. I like how they're setting up Wally so that he's likely to seek out Alchemy, it's only a matter of time. Loving Tom Felton's performance thus far as well. The story was kinda meh though.

 

This week's Arrow: Great. Not loving the whole team aspect, but everything else is awesome. I admittedly like the little drama they got between Ragman and Felicity over her killing his family. Awesome to see Stardust on the show. Brutal killer Ollie is back. Flashbacks are decent.

 

This week's Legends: Good. I liked the dynamic they had between the historian and his grandfather, it was interesting. It's cool to see Reverse Flash show up in the past, though I have no idea why he'd be interested in random villainy outside of trying to kill Barry.
