It probably takes a lot of work for Arrow to be the exact opposite, where everyone has a different least favorite character and they're all a part of the main cast.

I will continue watching Arrow because there will be future tie-ins with other CW shows (mainly The Flash and LoT) and I don't wanna be caught out not knowing something they reference during the crossover episode.

I will unless they really f*ck something up at the end of this season or in the next. I have to force myself to watch Arrow now, it's almost like a chore. I've already invested so much time into the series, so walking away for good would be like admitting every minute of the show I've watched has been for nothing.

 

It's the total opposite with The Flash, that show is one of the things I look forward to every week. It's not weighed down by excessive angst and melodrama, has a great cast that has good chemistry, and has a lot of really intriguing mysteries going on at any given time. As a CW show, The Flash is much better than it has any business being. It's astounding that they can get almost movie-quality special effects for the show on such a limited budget.

Same for me, but it's like when I watched the Prequels in my Star Wars marathon before going to Episode VIII and how I watched all of Jessica Jones: I didn't do it for enjoyment, but because I thought I needed too.

admittedly, the crossovers have been some of my favourite episodes. i will still watch them across all iterations, but i can personally live with not knowing exactly what is being referenced or going on with oliver and co because it doesn't feel important (to me)

I have been putting off watching Arrow more and more, this is a good thing... well for me at least. Hated the actress. If she is brought back to life by time travel or any other means, im completely done with it though.

 

Been missing the flash. Finally getting a new one this week is great.

Went through season 2 episode 12-17 of the Flash and it's easily one of if not the best comic book TV show to date. The ending of the last episode with Barry showing Iris the video montage he put together with Eddie through time travel was emotional as f*ck. Just waiting for the next episode and beyond.

So what happens in season 6, there's no flashbacks to the island, Mabel they'll flashback to when he back to the island when he was there between season 1 and 2, you can't be there for 6 mouths and not have anything happen

I honestly think they should give up the flashbacks. And I'm saying this as a person who started watching the show because of the flashbacks. Billionaire stuck on an island sounded awesome and it was in season 1 and 2. But the second they took him off the island, it lost its brilliance in my opinion. The Hong King bits and even the bits in season 4 when he's back on the island are just garbage compared to Season 1 and 2. Not only that, and correct me if I'm wrong, we haven't seen him "survive" since season 2 and it's year 4 on the island and he's still not a cold-blooded killer nor does he has his long hair and beard anymore. I don't know, I think they're just holding the show back (along with a million other things) and needs to be stopped.

Okay, just what the hell were they thinking when they decided to honor the agreement to give Zoom Barry's speed? Once Wally was released, they had zero reason to hold up their end of the bargain because Barry is (was) faster than him.

Just finished watching it. It was AMAZING. Barry was a f*cking beast with the speed boost, holy sh*t. And yeah, I don't get why they ended up still giving him the speed, and now he's taken caitlin. How are they going to get her back from him now that Barry is human again?

Well Zoom said "You won't believe me if I tell you". So it must be Ronnie, Barry (the one that went missing through the singularity in season 1) or the real Jay Garrick. My guts is actually 50/50 with Barry (the missing one) or Jay Garrick.

It's probably going to be the "real" Jay Garrick. Greg Berlanti recently took to social media in response to backlash he and the other show producers received when it was revealed that Jay is Zoom. He said they would "never make Jay evil" and to keep watching.

Because there's a masterplan behind it. I thought about it carefully and he's doing exactly what Zoom himself confessed what he done (although that could possibly be a lie but at a bad timing). When he time travelled back in time to get the tachyon meter or whatever its called from Eobard, he must have told the barry back then something is going to happen and he would time travel to this point to help current Barry get his powers back and fight Zoom. Afaik, due to time travelling, the Barry back then is facing a different reality to what this Barry already went through, which would mean the past Barry either has already gone faster somehow, with the help of Eobard, or there's another explanation to this.

There's another episode of Flash before the Arrow funeral episode, both happening next week. I'm really interested to see how they get his speed back. The trouble is, even if he does get his speed back Zoom can go like Mach f*cking 10 now because he has both his base speed and Barry's enhanced speed.

Yeah, he's going to be fast beyond imagination. As soon as he took Caitlin, you couldn't even see most of his lightning because that's how fast he went. I don't know how he's going to get his powers back though, the only thing they can do is face Zoom and someone is going to have to pin him down with a weapon, then inject him and dissect his powers like they had to do with Barry. Cisco is going to have to use his powers to contact him first. I absolutely have a feeling that this is where the past Barry comes in, he comes through a portal, along with Wells probably or someone else, and distract him enough to pin him down.
