The Pizza Delivery Guy
Lately I've been paying attention to my weight and am not happy. I've been trying to do regular exercise, but I keep finding myself below the level I want to be at. At this point I just need motivation to continue. Anyone have any tips on how? Pyrrhic
Stop delivering pizzas, it's probably too much of a temptation for you.

nixxio
Used to be around 180ish lbs around 2011 Dec, in two months lost around 50 lbs, so I'm around 130ish. It was worth it, especially when I first and went and got some new pants after I lost weight, since most of the pants I had were just useless by then, they were too big, was a good feeling. You just have to keep committed, back when I was losing weight I used to check the scale every few hours, after every meal, every sh*t, lol. crispypistonx8
Moderation will go a long way in itself, keep in mind im 6' 1"1/2 medium frame an muscular, but I was up to about 287lb's at my heaviest but said i refuse to hit 300 started watching what i was eating and seen a huge decrease down to 263. After that just do a lot of cardio an small weight/repetition training and you'll see the weight drop dramatically. Will is the key just think about how much better your life will be once you meet societies expectations. Finn 7 five 11
Watch what you eat for starters like a few have mentioned, cut out takeout completely. Then start excercising, if you give up after a few days, try again when you are motivated, each attempt will further establish a good habit and you get more motivated to continue. Kinda like quitting smoking, just keep trying.
Cheat
90% of losing weight is a mental challenge, you really just need to kick yourself in the ass and stop feeling bad for yourself, the fat's not going to kill itself. Turning disappointment into humor and laughing at yourself's not going to get you anywhere either, you need to set clear goals and know you want it to build motivation. You can do anything you set your mind to, man. Anything.

El Dildo
I'm only here to help. I wish you all the best my younger brother used to struggle with weight problems until I basically forced him to come with me to the gym every other day. as of today, he's down 50 pounds and he's keeping it off. you can try all the diets and pills in the world. but nothing works better than real exercise and real goals that you set for yourself and that you stick to, even after you've achieved your goal. living a healthy and happy life requires honest work just like anything else. if you weren't born with wealth and good genes, you simply have to make the best of your situation. if you're fat and you don't enjoy being fat then DO SOMETHING about it. only YOU can make it happen. Brobinski
I've looked through the fitness thread. Might try tomorrow? Yesterday you said "tomorrow". Do it today. You say you try to exercise regularly, but you get discouraged because you're at a level below where you want to be. Well, there's only one way to get to that level, and you f*cking know what it is. It's not about being physically capable, but being mentally capable. The hardest step is the first one, after that all you've got to do is put one foot in front of the other. There is no easy way, or else you wouldn't be in this situation would you? So get up and go do some f*cking work, because nobody's ever said "Wow I really regret doing so much exercise when I was younger".

A J
To change you, you need to change how you think. No good looking at topics here, chances are you are sitting on your ass reading....that's time wasted..because it doesn't matter what you know, it matters more what you do. Make any form of exercise as fun as you can, challenge yourself, and reward yourself if you do well. Nothing more rewarding than a woman touching your body and asking if you work out. 018361
I'm there with you buddy. I have been trying to lose weight since the year started. The thing for me is that I have no clue how much I weigh. I would go and buy a scale, but because of some other people can't keep a meal down i'm not able to. I just know that I wanna be " skinny " and not fat like I am right now. Too bad there isn't a guide to this, because I could sure use one. I only realized how disgusting fat people look after I lived with some slobs for a while. Everything we do looks like it's being done in slow motion and we breathe extremely heavily. I could almost hear the fat people hearts screaming for mercy, but it was suppressed by all that fat that was weighing down their skeletal structure. Vega LVI
I think the best choice would be to join a gym, that's if you have the time and whatnot. Exercising at home can be very hard and spending time at the gym will motivate you to do your best. My older brother could not stick with a regular work-out routine at home, so he joined a gym and ever since then, he has yet to give up on the exercising.
