Grand Theft Auto V Is Coming 9.17.2013

Aaaaaaaaaand I'm over it.

Had my whinge, had my vent. Now I only see the positives and no longer care.

Back to doing what this forum does best, wait.

Positives:

-Game will be better (more features, less bugs, more detail ect. I think Rockstar could change something that was revealed and fans are not happy about like first person underwater exploration. I honestly wish I could see what GTA IV would of looked like if it wasn't delayed and compare it to the public version.) (Hope Rockstar decides to add split screen/online co op. This is the GTA to add it in.)

-We will appreciate the game more than we would in the Spring. The delay release date probably will be a little more thrilling than the original one when the day arrives.

-Possibly more people on MP. More time for people to save up money.

-With more time to save up money, you can always get other games in the mean time.

-They may of delayed because they want to have more consoles compatible in the initial release. (Next Xbox, Next Play Station, Wii U, PC, PS Vita)

-In August/September, people won't be thinking "I'm sad my Summer break is over and I got to go back to school." but they may more be like "Holy f*cking sh*t, GTA V is almost around the corner!"

-More waiting.

-Fans are not happy with Rockstar and may of canceled their preorders, and more whining babies on the forms.

Who cares about school starting back up? You have to be 17+ to buy the game for one, so that's high school seniors and how many of those are here? What about the massive amount of adult fans that would still be working during the spring 2013 release? You have to realize that a majority of fans aren't 12-16 years old, a lot of those are adults, just the whiny fans here are 12-16 but wont admit it. When this game releases ill be 20 and a Junior in college, and still make time for it, tons of time.

They waited until the final day of the month

That's what really irks me about this situation. The delay isn't all that bad, and all things considered, this is Rockstar Games; a delay was almost guaranteed. What pisses me off is how they handled themselves during this whole ordeal; very low and slimy. They purposely left us hanging for the entire month, knowing full well that we were expecting new artwork and the box art's reveal. I'm willing to place bets on them knowing long before January 31st that they weren't going to show us the box art. The fact that they underhandedly tried to slither their way out of blatantly lying to us by prolonging the announcement for as long as possible, instead of letting us know about the current situation + the delay earlier in the month when whatever had caused the delay in the first place had most likely risen, just adds insult to injury. Of course, whatever had caused the delay very well could have occurred at 11:59 PM on January 30th, but we all know that R* would never man up and actually tell us exactly what happened, so I think it's safe to assume that we'll never know.

Hmm.... Autumn huh? well thats a looong wait. Guess i will just go to the shop which is about 2km away from my house, and buy Sleeping Dogs. Now currently playing RDR which i got on my b'day(Jan 22) this year. I have finished 34%. I know that i will finish RDR before Summer, and during Summer Vacation at school i will be playing Far Cry 3 or Watch Dogs. I thought i could play GTAV during Summer(which is Spring at NYC) but now i cant. Oh, well delays always happen with most of the best games so i will be waiting....

Yes it is. But the game was intended to launch in May/June. So 4 months delay only.

Summer you are not playing games you do other stuff so time will pass really fast so it is only 4 more months of long wait.
