December 2010 Bethesda announced Skyrim along with a release date of 11.11.11. Guess what? They delivered Skyrim on 11.11.11. Will Rockstar ever be capable of such a feat?

Yes, with many, many glitches and the inability to launch downloadable content on one of their primary sales platforms.

But even with the glitches, Skyrim is a near perfect game.

Personally, I'm indifferent to the delay. I trust that they would deliver a quality game over a rushed one. Look what happens when you are on a 2 year release schedule - you get a sh*tty game like Saints Row.

7 month and 15 day's left guys. It hurts when I think back when 2 day ago I thought that it will get released in April/May(3-4 months).

I woke up yesterday thinking of the fact that I'd be having GTA V in my hands within a maximum of four months..

I don't understand why people claim GTA IV was delayed, but was still a "buggy piece of sh*t."

 

I like to imagine those people just treat their console like sh*t, or f*cked something up - because I never had a problem with GTA IV. The only bug I ever encountered was the swingset glitch, but who in their right mind would hate that?

 

Also whoever's idea it was to make the logo on the front page a crying baby is my favorite mod.

Nah, i know they were working very, very hard.

 

But they were allowed quite a lot of vacation time from what i saw, probably because they were working too hard. Like i said yesterday. I put this down to poor overall management.

Well you know what in the mean time (if IV + EFLC can last that long) then I might try and get to level 10 on multiplayer and mess around and complete all three stories whilst I wait

 

though because of this pointless extended delay.

Jesus Christ people! Rockstar actually cares enough to delay their game (which they know will make some people butthurt) to make it even better. Would any EA Sports game get delayed for the same reason? No, and that's why R* is great. Anyone who is complaining is ungrateful and doesn't deserve the awesomenes that will be V.

I would accept that if IV was without bugs, but it wasn't. The opposite.

EA Sports are recruiting more people for getting a game finished. R* delays their games rather than recruiting more people.

They give a f*ck on their fans. They knew that the release won't be Spring, but anyway they lied to their fans. That's just poor.

well they are not that mean and bad, but they feel like they dont need to beg for attention and they are right! gta v doesnt need any screens and previews 2 years before release, it only needs a small ad and some trailers, but its nice if game companies want to give you something like the team behind bioshock infinite with the trailer vote and multiple covers they released... they care, R* doesnt

Actually, R* has expanded to have an entire team at Technicolor in India. But that happened late last year so it will take some time for them to staff it. One sec. And I will add a link.
