What the hell did I see? Trevor Philips is number 4 among the most handsome GTA main protagonists?  This guy is by far the ugliest GTA protagonist I've ever seen, he's as nice as a dick.

He has a good physique (ignoring dirt), charisma and a sensitive side, this gives him a certain level of attractiveness regardless of all the terrible stuff.

His head looks like a disproportioned alien and when he's "buff" it's even worse as he looks like a cheap action figure you'd give to your son to play with. Even by the standards of the 3D era considering limitations of the details regarding character models he's one ugly motherf*cker that makes Trevor look like a teen heart throb.

CJ is alright looking, quite a nice looking face (considering graphics limitations), and the option of a good body. And even though I don't rate him very highly as a character he's kind of a cool guy, he has more going on than most 3D era protagonists. 

 

I feel like ranking them from most to least attractive now lol

Draw between Tommy and Niko, Michael looks good for his age. 

Luis and Franklin are the typical young, buff ladies man nothing special about them tbh...

Coming back at this thread with a decision to rank the protagonists from best looking to worst looking in the series.

1. Tommy Vercetti - Athletic in build, strong jawline, near perfectly shaded skin, smooth Italian haircut (either a fade or a quiff) like my own, and overall a very good build where every feature compliments each other and doesn't seem out of place.
2. Claude - Though scruffier looking than Tommy and with a messier haircut, Claude still has that very nice masculine jawline that goes well with his own hairstyle. Cheeks are a bit too tightened though, and as said, he looks scruffier and less classy.
3. Michael De Santa - For his age, Michael looks great. Might not have the most perfect masculine face, but he wears his skin and age well, and his haircut still makes him look like a younger man. He's a man whose aged like fine wine in his seniority.
4. Luis Fernando Lopez - Head isn't the best shaped, but with his facial hair and short buzzcut he wears it quite well, which is especially complimenting of his Dominican roots that gave him slightly more tanned skin than his fellow GTA IV protagonists.
5. Niko Bellic - Though Slavic genes tend to make women look better (in my opinion), Niko still looks relatively decent, most especially when dressed in a suit. He could use better facial hair styles or lack thereof to look better, but he's not a bad-looker.
6. Franklin Clinton - Not a bad looker despite his somewhat rounded face. Certain outfits and hairstyles can really improve this guy and make him look like a real good looker. Too bad his default look isn't really the best of things to be admired. Sorry F.
7. Johnny Klebitz - Honestly, if this guy just cleaned himself up a little and grew his hair out a bit more and styled it, he really wouldn't look half bad. For now his skinhead haircut really doesn't compliment his face, which downgrades his points very much.
8. Carl Johnson - This guy has so many variables it's hard to rank him. His egg-shaped head and short cut isn't very good, but if you buff him up and get him a fade this man can look very nice despite his big lips and weird ears. Doesn't wear fat well though.
9. Toni Cipriani - Cause of low graphic quality this guy is hard to judge. Generally though I imagine some kind of Al Pacino look alike but a bit uglier, which itself isn't bad, but pales to the likes of Tommy and even high-class looking CJ. Not great, not terrible.
10. Vic Vance - Again, low graphic quality, but also not very good looking either way. Head is very round, he's got no hair to compliment it, and his only redeeming factor is his stubble on his chin. Not someone you'd be putting on the front page of a magazine.
11. Huang Lee - Hardest to judge since he's DS quality, but not a very good looker either way. Probably wouldn't look as bad in high graphics, but he needs some hair styling before he can qualify as handsome. But at least he can be improved unlike the next guy.
12. Trevor Philips - There are no hairstyles that can help this guy. Male pattern baldness hasn't been nice to him, and only when he looks like Kratos with a long beard and bald head does he look remotely decent. He's definitely cheap beer, rather than fine wine.

Nah his baldness isn't that bad and he looks good with the default hair and either clean shaven or a handlebar moustache. Good body and cleans up well in a rustic shirt and jeans. So many women have a secret crush on this character trust me lol, I daresay more than you'd find for any other protagonist.

Old thread but whatever, i always had a bit of a crush on Claude since i was kid, i really like his jawline, haircut and overall "scruffines" and i really think that 1/6 figure R*/Sideshow made is peak Claude.

Honestly, it just doesn't seems weird at all to me. Trevor does have a charming way with words and body language. 

Not sure how his extreme personality translates as in people's fantasies though.

I think the issue with people is that they think when we have a crush on someone, we are probably fantasizing 100% about the same person. I don't think so, I think we only think about the good aspects of the person, especially a fictional character.  As in we are interested in a more approachable ideal version of that person. That said, only thing I personally think is weird about Trevor is that he is a criminal and the strange tattoos. Other than that, I seen people in relationship with people that will make Trevor seems like a gentleman so I agree, hygiene, baldness and age don't seem much problematic.

I think everyone is misunderstanding this topic. This is about who has the best looks, not Personality. No offence but Trevor would be at the very bottom, just doesn't have much redeeming features about him to look "handsome", to me he looks like some crazy trailerpark redneck hillbilly. Claude and Tommy would definitely be at the top but if I had to choose, I'd pick Claude. His deep set eyes, masculine facial features, scruffy spiky hair with his long sideburns and his thick eyebrows. The late 90s/ early 2000s outfit is amazing having his baggy cargo pants, bomber jacket and cool sneakers.
