And the other for image spamming a comic strip. Speaking of bans, I'm so glad that horsho kid finally got banned. same with the kid who made up that war story. I would always see him get busted then he'd be back but I've never seen him do anything ban worthy. Slamman has been reported over 600 times, posted constantly off topic, et cetera. I have reuploaded the images because the original links don't work half of the time. Slamman was permanently banned in March 2010 but he has been given a second chance because a lot of people haven't stopped talking about him which was why he was unbanned in July 2011. As you can see, he was banned again in July 2012 but now it is permanently. Can I ask what happened to MUrdoc? If it's confidential or something then thats no problem just curious... That's why: After you were unanimously voted off the staff last year you were warned and temp banned numerous times for various offenses. Rather than permanently ban you right there and then, I took the decision to speak with meta187 to see if we could come to a more amicable agreement. At this time you were warned you would be permanently banned if the constant rule breaking continued, and for a short while you changed. Though, he received so many warnings, I miss him. My join date would contradict it but I'm lurking this place since years. He also has the biggest post count. It was resetted once or twice (not sure) and miromiro pointed out that Slamman has about 36,000 posts so yeah, even Girish would need some time until he would break that record, only 2,000 posts to go. Btw, I've never seen Girish get mad or let anything get to him - it was strange to see that Slamman was able to push him over the edge. If a member is permanently banned and still uses the account then no, the member can not access the forum. The member would only see a screen where it states the reason for the permanent ban. You would have to delete the cookies and cache to be at least able to lurk the forum without an account and usually if you are banned, then you are banned, you don't get any more chances. Of you go to Slamman's profile (and even Murdoc's for that matter) their latest activity is every recent, only a few days ago. Which means they still lurk the forums even though they're perma-banned. Andreas Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 If they try to go to the forum when the are using their accounts then they can enter the forum but they can only view the Board Index which states the reason for the ban, and they can not browse the forum. So if they would try to use their accounts exactly right now and we would look at their profiles then it would say "Currently Viewing: Viewing Board Index" and of course the date of their last activity would be updated to the current one. I had to take a break from the V forum. Passions run high there. There is very little wiggle room for mature discussion and it's often dominated by the most redundant topics if there is no info to feed on. However, I still give V's sub-forum the highest investigative honor when it comes to new GTAV info. The section has been responsible for numerous findings about that game. Placing someone into a moderating postition due to post count is retarded IMO. It's not something that happens overnight. It took me 4 years before I was asked to help out with the GTA V forum. If I had to give anyone advice with aspirations on becoming a mod it would be just be a good member of the community and by that I don't mean intentionally tone it down to kiss ass. Just be yourself and you may get a call up one day. The worst thing anyone could do though as far as I'm concerned is ask to become a moderator. I've been temporarily banned twice. A small one because I responded to someone who posted a picture of "Get ready for the flame wars" Another because I had a week long grumpy attitude around the V section. Whatever happened to Slamman? I would always see him get busted then he'd be back but I've never seen him do anything ban worthy. I am seriously curious about this. Why is Slamman always banned. Let back on and then banned again? I have asked this question many times and I have never gotten a response. People just ignore it like it is some kind of secret I'm not allowed to be in on.
