Guest
Saints Row 1 was released after GTA4 No it wasn't. What GTA needs that Fallout has was a sense of community, they can expand on what Fallout did. When you walk out of your home, you recognise people. You don't think "that's a random ped" you think "oh look there's Moriarty chilling out around his saloon". Fallout set a basic footstep, but I'd like GTA to go a bit further, it should develop on characters like that more. It should be noted that RDR also put in a basic footstep, with having Herbert Moon running his general store and playing poker.

Honest Bill
Personally this so called new system (if it happens) will just ruin the classic feel of GTA games. GTA is not other games, so why ruin it by copying other games that are completely different. I understand about what the emptiness of completing GTA IV, nothing really to do than just mess around, but that is where TLaD and TBoGT came in, to give you more hours of GTA fun without putting the game on one side to collect dust. Personally all R* has to do for GTA V is to do what they with IV, is by giving a DLC or two to interact with the main story to extend the fun from the GTA game. Please say that GTA V doesn't have RDR style system of changing weapons That's not a very progressive attitude.. I'm glad you aren't the guy in charge at Rockstar, we'd still be stuck in 2D with squeaky voices on pay phones as our mission givers.. If i were a betting man, i'd wager that V will have a weapon wheel instead of the less efficient scrolling system that previous games had

No, I haven't played Elder Scrolls games, but because they're by Bethesda aswell as Fallout 3, I'd imagine they have the same idea.
