WinterRules Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Hey guys. Im new to posting my problems with my games. My major problem right now is that when i run LaunchGTAIV.exe nothing happens. I have tried updates, GFWL, GTA. ect. I have tried everything i know. I would like to know if there is anything you guys can do. Also: its a retailed version that used to work just 2 days ago. My computer specs Windows 8 Compaq - Computer type and windows RMD RADEON SERIES HD 6850 - Graphics card Im not sure what else would be needed. Miro Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 Where do you have the game from? Are you playing with the DVD in your Drive? Do you use any mods? Have you tried installing the Games for Windows Live Update & the GTA IV Patch 1.0.7.0? What about trying to delete your game settings? If none worked, try running the LaunchGTAIV.exe in different compatibility modes. If it doesn't work, try to put the GTAIV.exe in all compatibility modes.
