That is probably because you have not posted much since you have joined the forum until a year ago. If I look at your post history then you have written almost 130 pages worth of posts in this year but your whole post history has only 140 pages. That is most likely why a lot of people think that you left this place and returned this year. Yea I guess that makes sense. I used to avoid posting because I figured that what I wanted to say had already been said. But as the V hype rolled in I couldn't help but post more often. I guess if someone left for a long period but returned sometime in 2012 then yes it still counts. Now that you mention it, I have a similar question, Can a member that joined on late December 2011 (like 25th December, 31st...) get the Best new member 2012 award? All nominations have to be from 2012. What do you mean " people cannot read and all nominations have to be from 2012"? It clearly states in the rules that nominations have to be from 2012, yet people are nominating things that are not from 2012. The whole point of the awards are the cerebrate people's contributions in 2012. Not things from 2010, 2011, or 2013. In terms of members that joined late and topics that started at the back end of 2011, like December, I'm sure that at our discretion we can let some things slide. However, as much as I love that Screenshot thread, it was started in November 2011 and it won the award last year. I wish it was like that with Design Your Own Mission It is like that: as DYOM-missions now have their own award, they will not be accepted for "best mission" award. But sofar I haven't seen one get nominated there this year, but I may have missed one (Note, that DYOM itself has been nominated for "best script" and "best tool", but both are valid categories for it.) If you know nothing about multiplayer (i.e. you take no part in events, belong to no gang and generally never visit that section) then don't stupidly nominate. Apologies to the forum staff, didn't want to cause issues. Why so serious? I thought it's just for fun, people can whatever they want as long as it's not against the rules. I didn't vote for anyone under any multiplayer category btw. OT: When will the voting round begin? Nominations aren't that exciting, it's just the same people getting nominated by everyone really. It's unforunate but it's always been the one rule we have to keep things fresh. Topics like Mapping Los Santos, and all the contributors inside, certainly do deserve awards. Kirsty expressed an interest to help with the awards so we all agreed to let her take the reins on them this year. Also, can a user vote for a member of their gang in another category? For instance, can I vote for a member from my gang as 'Most Helpful' or whatever? Yes, you can vote for your gang as well man look at all of the OGA members voting their own gang for the 'best OGA' award, although that ones for fun.
