Almost everyone is forgetting this. edit: Also, it says you need to post a link to the profile AND content as well for the 'Best Sig'. Is this really necessary? Yeah, people should be linking to the profile and the feature (e.g. screenshot, video etc) If it's embedded in a post then linking to that is fine. As for Signature of the Year, the idea behind linking both is because people often change sigs or wear sigs they didn't make. Linking to the image and profile just makes it easier to sort. So each nomination should be relevant to the category it is in and made between January to December 2012. For example you can't be nominated for best new member because your join date is in 2011. Also need to re-iterate that GTA Series Chat Awards are contributions only from the GTA gaming subforums, not others. Somewhat like GTA:United 1.2, it wasen't made in 2012, but it had a pretty major update, therefore it's allowed. There might be a couple of days before voting opens as the nominations will have to be tallied and incorrect nominations will have to be removed. If you know nothing about multiplayer (i.e. you take no part in events, belong to no gang and generally never visit that section) then don't stupidly nominate. But in the end, nominations don't always reflect the winners so it should work out with a deserved winner. Topics like that are great indeed, but it was nominated came in the top 3 of votes last year so it didn't miss out entirely for an award. No problem sorry I didn't notice your question in there before. Even the odd one may slip through, I think most people are just deleting categories they don't know anything about. I'm sure they will skip them when it comes to voting too. It's the best thing we can do, to encourage people who don't know enough about the category to just skip it. We had "Best team Player" in 2010 awards, it was missing from 2011 awards and now again, i figured it got merged with the Most Valuable Player award, but honestly those two are completely different things, and shouldn't be merged. Oh and don't nominate me for MVP again. Other then that, excellent job on getting this up so early Kirsty! The contribution awards are a great idea! That is probably because you have not posted much since you have joined the forum until a year ago. If I look at your post history then you have written almost 130 pages worth of posts in 2012 but your whole post history has only 140 pages. That is most likely the reason why a lot of people think that you left this place and returned last year.
