KawakSallas
So, don't know if this was discussed before, I used search and don't find nothing. I'm running GTA IV, Patch 7, on a i5 3550, GeForce 660 TI, Win 7 Pro x64. I'm with the latest Forceware, 310.90, getting around 50 fps, with some slowdowns, especially at sunset. Some older Forceware has better performance?
Andreas
Yeah, that is a known issue. The performance of GTA IV is on the newest drivers worse than on the older drivers for whatever reasons. The only thing you can do is either deal with it as it is now or uninstall the new driver and then install one of the older ones. KawakSallas
And which of these older would be the best, specifically?
Andreas
I am not sure but I would say that any driver that is older than the 310.70 driver is already better than your current one. I have driver 306.97 and GTA IV runs well. I don't know which driver is the best one and I think nobody can tell you this.
