The leaked casting call, where people believe the casting list for Albert De Silva was for Michael, but the name was changed, as with all the other characters. I believe the name popped up after a 'leak' was made of all the characters that are supposed to be in GTAV In other words, someone on the internet made it up. Correct me if I am wrong, anyone. One could also say that originally, his new name was "Albert" - but that they changed that name, and all the other names, that was listed on the casting call after it was leaked. Another possibility is also that they were just placeholder names used to recruit actors (in the event it leaks out, as it did) and were never in-game names. Various possibilities. He moved to another city, but he /did not/ change his name. This just seems like a major story spoiler that they'd rather you experience in the game. Yeah this is what I thought. I wouldn't be surprised of at some point in the story Micheal, Franklin and Trevor deal with the FIB or CAA or whatever, and there is no longer an antagonist. Then after a few "calmer" missions, some guys from Micheal's old group show up and they're the new antagonists, and they call him by his actual name. Maybe when Rockstar were doing MP3, they were going to make Michael a Brazilian descendent. As he looks now, he could be from anywhere and if I was to really push it, Michael is half-Irish, half Brazilian or some country from South America.
