leaflinks
Hello, I would like to know some information on texturing a GTA 3 model using the txd. The software would be using Zanoza modeler, the last updated software a decade ago. 1) How do you texture a model that is completely solid? Divide it into pieces and then unify it as complete, except for the doors & any other pieces? 2)Does adding an external texture onto an image from the TXD file require it to be the exact size as the one that is to be replaced by? 3)If you delete a piece of the model mesh, like nothing important, how does that affect the file? Lets say a door mirror? Or a spoiler from a Yakuza car? 4) Texturing a vehicle won't affect the dummies? I guess the dummies just remain unchecked. Anything additional would be useful. Thank you. leaflinks
Texture test of the vc ice cream truck. I remember the truck had different colours, how does that workout with the bitmaps from the txd, I don't see any colours for it? texture test
leaflinks
Zmod1 Zmod 2 vlo I have edited the mr whoopee for GTA 3 deleted the bottom side signs, I gave it a test in the game, it didn't appear correctly, the textures that is. I imagine that was because I didn't add in the bitmaps into the txd as I'd map the model with the those images. I textured the interior a grey from the main bitmap with the van's exterior and interior images. I'm not bothered about the interior, it's not as if it looks that good originally. What is the vlo? And why does it appear this way? How does that affect the overall working of it in the game? Thanks
leaflinks
I have made some progress, I made sure to texture the model much more than previously done, but the doors are off the hinges? It's the axis? I imagine I have to centre them? or something. There must be somebody that can help me out with this. All i did was texture one door, unify it and then created a copy and moved it over to the left and named it accordingly. In the txd, I made sure to add the bitmaps that i used into the txd file. And UV dff setting selected. I'm notsure if that played a role but the textures work fine as the video shows. I've gotten somewhere on my own...even it's a little rough looking. Objective complete.
