Andrew
What snow? Snowmadgeddon was forecast for Leeds, we got a light flurry about 5pm, just on the drive home from work. No problems. Nothing since, in fact it's all melting now.
Mcquiz
Meanwhile in normal Europe we've had over 20cm of snow for more than a month and right now it is -17.1 C outside and everything still works.

Ziggy455
West Midlands got a lot of it. We're at about 7 inches here and we've got a huge amount of Snow coming tomorrow. "I might have laughed if I'd have remembered how."
Rebel
Yeah our roads around here are all fine today. Last night even the main roads were f*cked apparently, had a guy come into work that had driven from Leeds back to Leicester and he said it was a nightmare. But today, roads are fine - just sludge. I'm not sure if were going to get some more snow tonight, but I'll be surprised considering all of its melting away today. Probably just turn all to ice with whatevers left when the sun goes down. I should really go check the weather report.

DeeperRed
Yeah our roads around here are all fine today. Last night even the main roads were f*cked apparently. Literally took my friend 2 hours to get from Evington to Stoneygate. As well as another friend who took 45 minutes to climb about 300 meters up London Road. f*cking ridiculous. NCONiall
Haven't had snow for about 3 years now. The last time we had it we had it really bad and we missed 2 weeks of school because of it. It snowed yesterday and it was pretty heavy but none of it lay. Judging from pictures on Facebook and chitchat it snowed and lay everywhere except my town. Yesterday in school those who got buses went home early because of the snow and that left only about a quarter of the students there. Even the teachers had gone home so me and what was left of us just went to the drama room and acted out a play called My Left Testicle; it was actually really good. TargetTango
As a Canadian this is way too comical for me. A few inches of snow and you guys are already considering mass suicide. XD
Kalvin
It was snowing quite a bit down here earlier but it has stopped for now. We're expecting light snow later and no snow until Sunday -- apparently. England's got the worse of it I think. Since the start of the new year, I've had snow sure, but none of it has been bad. I've seen snow go down, very fast. But I went outside and I didn't feel a thing, the snow didn't even pile up, even thought it was dropping so hard. So (atleast) as this place in the whole of 10 years, has had the worst weather ever, I think this is the most safest I've ever seen. Atleast this is where I live. XD I agree, It's very funny. As a Norwegian I find this funny. And I see someone saying "England's got the worst of it I think" They don't even have a meter of snow. LuKeltic
Worst in 30 years? Err no, 2010's was. Nowhere have I heard this year's being the worst, because it's simply nowhere near.

RED_
Surely not the worst in 30 years. Saying that it snowed all day in London. Lots of snow on the ground, really nice to see actually. I can see it being a problem but maybe some will melt overnight and it starts to get warmer. I think the snow front is supposed to be coming to an end. I do like how it makes the days appear brighter.
GTA_stu
Quite a lot of snow up here in Hull, there's a small field outside my front door and some kids were making snowmen, having snowball fights, frolicking and such. So to teach the little bastards a lesson, when I took my dog for a walk last night I let her take a wizz on one of them. The snowmen, not the kids. I felt so diabolical, like a criminal mastermind. She did it on the unfinished one, so when they came back out this morning to complete Mr. snow bollocks, they were touching my dog's pee. I was thinking about smearing sh*t all over his smug white face, but I think that would have been going a bit far. Supposed to be a lot of snow tonight as well, 4-6 inches apparently, for the northeast that is.
