lectoryo Posted January 17, 2013 Share Posted January 17, 2013 So, alot of people have the gut feeling that guns will be customizeable along with clothes, cars, etc. What are your thoughts on being able to make your weapons waterproof for a certain amount of cash? Realistic? No, but look what game we're talking about. Tell me you wouldn't mind shooting a shark with an AK from the ocean floor. What other ways would you like to customize them? Though Heckler and Koch made a MP5 thing that fired darts that actually was to be used against other divers! And I dont think they should invest their time in a system like that because whenever you're incarcerated you lose these guns anyways. And for underwater bullet trajectories, maybe the damage done decrreses rapidly with range because the bullet slows down. Depending on how much realism Rockstar wants to put into the wet gun concept, it could be that there is no effect on the gun when you get back on land, or it could be that the gun is damaged and unusable when you are back on land. Maybe certain guns could be waterproof, like some military guns And when the police poat is on my ass with 3 or 4 stars, I want to be able to dive underwater and use my RPG on those damn police boats! Maybe reduce some of the accuracy, making it more like blind firing. Firing all guns underwater: no, this makes the underwater environment less unique. Remi749 Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) I guess there will be at least one or maybe small collection of weapons that can fire under water, but not something that can be bought to waterproof weapons. Harpoons would the choice but there are some amphibious weapons in real life that can fire under water, machine guns, etc... but I doubt that we will have amphibious weapons. So i dont expect nor want guns to jam in V, so there'd be no reason to waterproof them. The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
