Andreas
Anyways, my whole family is saying that beating the dog for misdeeds, is the what to go; F U C K. Have fun in a few months/years when the dog attacks someone in your family, perhaps everyone who has beaten him. Violence is not a solution for any problem and honestly, it is stupid to beat a little dog just because of minor misdeeds. When the dog becomes older, then the possibility that he is going to attack someone will increase and I can tell you that you can't improve anything anymore because then it's too late. The trust of the dog terminates when he attacks you or anyone else in the family because of the violence. The confidence of the dog has reached the end when he attacks you or anyone else in the family because of the violence. I have a pet that actually NEEDS to stay in the cage otherwise someone gets hurt. My uncle had him before me, and he said the owner beat him and all sorts of stuff. Sad. It really is... poor thing. He's just an african gray parrot.
Ferocious Banger
When I men "beating", it's not a 'tie him up and cane', cannibalistic kind of beating;, just a little tap with a paper-roll and we already have a mutual love between us. I'm loving the dog to shreds and he responds by furious trail-wagging, licking and play-biting. We're just a little scared that the latter might prove to be dangerous once he grows..that's why. Is that wrong, too?

When he does something bad, ignore him. He will stop it because he seeks your attention.

Is that wrong, too? Nature vs Nurture is a popular argument for Rottweiler and Pit Bull attacks. But as someone who worked at an animal shelter and has been around dogs my whole life, I can tell you that it's Nurture that determines the dogs' behavior when it's older. You shouldn't worry too much about your dog being vicious when he's older. If you need to reprimand the dog. -Bop it on the nose lightly with a soft object. Do NOT hit the dog with your fist. -If the bad behavior continues, use a spray bottle of water. Don't drench the poor thing. -If all else fails, get a shock collar. Don't worry, they don't actually hurt. They just give off a "jolt" like sensation and there are different intensity levels. Most come equipped with a beeper that lets the dog know he's about to get shocked, so eventually you won't even need to shock him anymore.
