Crazy Cheats?

All the fun cheats like "Freeze Wanted Level", "Drive on water", "Flying Car" were gone in GTA IV, I can see that R* were trying to hit it spot on with realism but come on, those cheats were what made GTA unique, that's not the only unique thing about GTA but it was one of the things that made San Andreas a big hit, do you think GTA V should have crazy cheats, or do you think R* won't put these kinds of cheats in a GTA game again?

 

Personally I'd love them back and I think it's what gives GTA it's replayabiliy value.

Absolutely. The fun cheats were the best cheats, especially after completing the game. Cars float on water was one of my favorites, and Flying cars, thats great too.

I never used some of the 'fun' cheats in SA. but some of them should make a return. i really would've liked a 'never wanted' cheat, and 'infinite ammo. maybe some new ones too. maybe some for underwater..

In my opinion I think that the cheats that GTA IV had were fine. I really couldn't see GTA V make a return to the GTA III-era style cheats, but it would be cool to have cheats such as infinite health or lung capacity for those who would want to use them.

What is the difference between fun cheats and realistic cheats again? Because cheats aren't exactly realistic.

 

I do think we should have tons of fun cheats back. A lot of people probably won't use them, but whatever. That's their thing. I want to fly a car like a plane again dammit.

my friend and i would put in 'never wanted', 'ped riot', & 'peds have guns'. The we would get into a cop car pretending to be cops on pursuit

 

but yea, the more cheats the more chaotic fun we can have.

Yes the more content the better. Best thing about cheats is they're optional.

 

@ Matticus88 Yeah I remember that cheat from Vice City. I loved how the car's wheels would even rotate 90 degrees so that they were flat against the water.

Obviously, not all the cheats from SA are going to return. There will probably be vehicle and health cheats like IV, but I would love some crazy cheats like a flying car/boat and peds hate you.

 

An awesome idea I had for a cheat is, instead of zombie DLC, how about a zombie cheat? Think The Walking Dead: no peds, no traffic, foggy streets, you only have a pistol, and have to survive a zombie apocalypse. If there are truly alot of interiors in the game, this could be so fun.

The practical cheats (for health, vehicles, and weapons) are obviously the most important. I want to be able to spawn a bicycle, a tank, or a submarine whenever and wherever I choose.

 

As for crazy cheats, I'm pretty sure we'll get flying cars again, since plane physics will be written into the game this time. I'm also sure explosive rounds and super punch will return from TBOGT. I doubt we'll see any crazy peds/traffic cheats like SA though, but what do I know? Would love to see the return of the massive bunny hops cheat, as well as the one for driving on water.

There it is again. How is a cheat practical? It's literally warping space to spawn things and heal injuries. With a cellphone. Or in the III era's case, vodoo dance.

 

I like all kinds of cheats though, so I too would like all this.

Ill beat the story mode and what ever side missions there are without cheats, but once im finished i like to mess around with the cheats.

 

i hope they bring back the riot cheat and the armed civilian cheat from the III era

I always loved messing around with the cheats. It was like playing a whole new game.
