Will the TBOGT end of mission reviews return

That kind of crap is annoying. I don't understand why game developers think it's fun to judge us on how WE, the gamers, want play the game. Same thing with Assassin Creed's Full Synchro bullsh*t. Keep that sh*t out of games.

Algonquin Assassin

I wouldn't mind if it could be toggled on and off. It's like the full synchronization in the Assassin's Creed games. Part of me feels like I'm being mocked because I didn't do it to 100%.

I liked in RDR how it wasn't so "rubbing it in" so to speak. After missions were done you could go back to the replay menu to see how you went, but it didn't feel as obligating as it was in TBOGT.

yeah crappy way to force replay value but should still have the option to replay missions on game completion.

that driving range 100% accuracy challenge was annoying.

That crappy thing where it felt like the game was judging you and being annoyed at you for not playing missions THEIR way?

Hope it doesn't return, if it does, then it should be the RDR version not the sh*tty TBOGT version!

You never had to play it their way. Those targets were just suggestions for replaying missions. It gives you some extra things to do once you beat the main story. If you didnt like it, you can simply avoid it.

But it was done better in Red Dead Redemption, the scoring and targets stuff were hidden away in their own menu, you could replay any missions any time, and see full cutscenes, etc, and you never saw it once during normal gameplay, you only saw it if you wanted to check it out in the menu, to see the targets for the medals, etc. In TBOGT it was FORCED onto you, it's not exactly nice playing the game for the first time, finishing an awesome mission and then have that screen eyesore pop up being all "40% U SUCK, DIDN'T EVEN GET 25 HEADSHOTS AND U TOOK 7 MINS INSTEAD OF 5 AND HALF!!"

Those always made me feel too challenged. I like taking my time going through the missions and getting all of the guns, armor and other things instead of rushing throuh and missing out on all of it.

i just want to be able to replay missions like in TBOGT but this time without the 100% crap lol

lol Yeah. The replay feature was awesome.. the stats wasnt.

I mean f*ck, They didn't even give you a criteria at the start of the mission, you have to finish it to see what you had to do? WTF. Thats Retarded!

I honestly didn't care for them. I did the missions my way, taking my time, and enjoying them instead of worrying about being perfect.

If you don't like the mission reviews, why not just ignore them?

I like the mission reviews. They only add to the game, they don't take anything away from it.

But personally I think that they should have a return of high scores, rather than a % of completion. If there's no upper limit to your score, then the game focuses on what you did right rather than what you did wrong.

Didn't bother me when the first couple of times I played - though it was always good to see I'd passed one or two of the conditions without trying - and, when I finally decided to see if I could pass the reviews, it added a whole new challenge to the missions.

This is the one thing I hated about TBoGT. I've said it before in a similar topic. GTA, at it's core, is about freedom and having this thing criticising how I played and telling me how I should play defeats what makes GTA great. Besides it was hard enough being creative in GTA IV with how linear was.

Thankfully, Rockstar has said that GTA V's missions will be a lot more free form than those of IV. So hopefully that's an indicator that score list is gone.

I hope not. I didn't really like that. It makes the single player competitive. It shouldn't be that way...

I agree about Positive Score instead of Percentage.

Something like

Headshots:

Time:

Damage Taken:

And instead of adding up to a percentage you'd just get more or less points.

But even then, it's hard to ignore this stuff when after every missions it shows up superimposed over everything else.

Perhaps instead they could bring back the RDR Challenges and include a Mission Challenge subsection.

Mission replay is good but I don't want to see a scorecard during the story. Only show scorecards in replay mode.

You don't have to play through the game over to play your favorite mission.

Just save the mission before it in a different slot and keep going with your story.

When u wanna play that mission use the save slot and turn off auto save.

OT: I would like to see the mission review feat back in V it was an easier way to replay that hatch stealing mission.

Yeah exactly

Not necessarily, I never consented to being judged on how to play a free to play game such as GTA V. Regardless if you get perfect or fail the after mission you review, you get judged. Being judged on how to play a video game is lame, especially in one such as GTA. They should give an option to remove those.

Just spam the X/A button and you dont see it. You guys complain about the smallest things ever.

Or how about Rockstar just not include it? suicidal.gif

I thought the mission replay was cool, but the score system was sh*t. I almost never got a perfect score, and I don't need the game to tell me I didn't do it as good as possible. I completed the mission, that's the only thing that counts.

Hopefully not. But I really, really do hope we get to replay missions. That was one of the best things for the GTA series to come out of TBoGT.
