Or make it so Michael can stay in upscale hotels but pays through the nose for it, and Trevor can stay only in flophouses. Franklin can turn into a horse and hitch himself outside. Indeed, motels are a good idea, and to draw inspiration from real life, if I wanted to lay low, I would just drive out on an obscure backroad and sleep in my car, save game and wake up 6 hours later -- you should not even need an RV. But if Rockstar wants to make mobile saves a little bit special, yes, they could restrict the type of vehicles to do this. And we know GTAV city and surrounding areas are 5x bigger than liberty city GTAIV, GTA SA and RDR and I think there will be Large portion of desert and wilderness in this game.. It wouldn't make sense to have the player standing up and walking around but if there were an action button which was different from the "get in car" for saving your game then a nice little walk into the RV animation and have the player walking out 6 hours later would be nice. In IV you could call a cab, set a destination and boom you'd be there within 5 seconds. How could Rockstar create a similar fast travel system in that era where you wouldn't find many if any cabs in the wilderness. The camping system was implemented to get you from point A to point B just like GTA games do with taxis. We won't be seeing the camping site return. I like the sh*t you say, Biggie. What the OP suggesting is not what I have in mind. I doubt R* will go for that 'cause the RV will be getting it repainted or the protagonists will have to escape the pursuit when driving it. Not arguing with you at all but it does suit a camper-van more than a car. If I were going on a big grand tour I could do it on a forklift truck... but I'd most likely by something more suited to the occasion. It would be that vehicles 'special ability'. You could go computer camping lol. I think i'd park up near a nice gentle flowing stream so after a days craziness I could relax... Just thought... if we buy a camper-van... Anyone for cooking? Also, I think they have already teased on how good various save points could potentially be, for example: But I think if they do implement safe houses like this we will see a few hotels and motels in the desert areas, it would definitely be a cool and much needed addition if the map is big. Nothing sucks more than driving a great distance to a mission, doing the mission, then driving back to save. That's the type of player I am anyway, especially on difficult missions and especially if you have to repeat the mission a few times. It's another way they can cut out dry points and get people right into the action, which is what they are aiming for with the likes of the switchable characters.
