mattmason55 Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 I think rockstar will cover this pretty good, but these are the things i hope for/ hope are good in gta v beaches. ~People swimming! On sunny days have the beaches packed, on rainy days, have it nearly empty, not swimming at ridiculous times, people in scuba gear scuba diving under the water looking at wildlife ~On sand activies, beach volleyball/ball sports, people tanning on towels, people going for morning/afternoon jogs, ~Sharks, i hope that sharks will not normally come close to beaches, but every now and again, a siren will sound letting everyone know there is a shark in the water, i think this would bring a sense of realism, but not to much to the game ~I would love if you could hire boats, scuba gear, that sort of stuff from beach areas, but not have to bring it back, it would sort of just disappear when you leave the water, ~Some nights every now and again have beach party's and stuff also abit wild and pointless but still, in the morning some times, you will see drunks laying on the sand after a hard night of partying, These are just some ideas that came to my head, let me know if you have any ideas for beaches in the game as im quite interested! Remi749 Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 I hope they fix that pedestrians swim this time around, most peds in GTA IV drowned if you pushed them out in the water, but if they fell from a helicopter or car into the water they swam to the pier and if you pushed them out in the water they drowned. Then again, that happens to every destructible object in GTA games. @Remi749 I'm sure most npc's in V will be able to swim, especially those near the beaches of Los Santos. I want the beach to function like a real beach, or at least like something. So far, the most realistic beach was in SA, and all they had were people laying on towels. Also, I'd like lifeguards to be on duty, sitting at their stations, monitoring the beach, maybe they'd even own and occasionally use an ATV. The shops will most likely have many items that cant be purchased or used in any way, I'm ok with that, but I hope they at least have an employee working and selling items to NPCs. I'd like a security guard with a flashlight monitoring the area at night. If there isn't beach volleyball, adding the nets would still be nice for scenery. Many beaches also have bars right on the sand, that would help make the area feel like 'paradise'. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can see it now, your driving down to the beach to have some fun (Take pictures of bikini clad girls) but when you see the tide is in, with hardly any beach at all, you go home all dissapointed.
