Matty Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 I'd also like to hear songs from Megadeth, AC/DC, Metallica, Disturbed (hearing "Indestructible" play in the background as you are causing havoc as Trevor would be so fitting) but also songs from Anthrax, Slayer, Testament, Exodus, Dio, Black Sabbath and even Led Zeppelin, all of which would fit well on a hard rock themed radio station IMO. Of course, no rock-radio would be complete without Metallica so that would definitely be welcome. Given what we know about GTA's musical history, I expect us to be listening to stuff we've never heard before blended effortlessly between classic tracks. They have been featured on the soundtracks of past GTA games - it's just a matter of whether they would fit with the overall setting of GTA V or not, but nonetheless it would be great to hear them on the soundtrack in GTA V IMO. I've always thought Kyle Gass of Tenacious D would be great. Or maybe Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle and much more), he loves video games. @DTUMan - They already used 'Run To The Hills' on EFLC and sadly that would have been the perfect Iron Maiden song for V. Bailing out of the city towards the distant mountains listening to that...it would have been amazing! Not so say there can't be a Maiden song, but that was the Maiden song for GTA V, damn it! @LS County Sheriff - You don't wanna know my thoughts on Nickleback I'm sure they are decent people, but god does their music sh*t me. I do like some of their songs ironically (the most hipster thing I've ever said, I feel dirty), like Figured You Out because of how jock-rock it is. How You Remind Me and Animals reminds me of school, so that's a nostalgia thing there. Outside of that, I'd rather not have Nickleback in GTA. rader1 Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Most of what's been listed isn't even hard rock lol There will probably be a classic rock(Maiden, AC/DC, Priest etc...) and a modern hard rock station(Trivium, Mastadon, All that Remains, Children of Bodom, Nevermore, Killswitch, Slipknot, Scar Symmetry...) Of course, that's just what i'm hoping for. With the games setting there better be some f*cking Tool lol I will say that if i hear Slayer on a statio that station will get an instaban and never be heard again.
