I'd like to know if there are any other driving sims out there? I haven't seen alot. Any recommendations? Euro Truck Simulator 2 has basically the same engine that runs Scania Truck sim but has a big map and freeroam, own your own trucks, deliver loads across a good chunk of Europe. As for modding, if you want some badass trucks and trailers look at German Truck simulator or Haulin' http://truckmodshop.proboards.com/ ^ Best American trucks being produced are posted there

manofpeace
There's an endless supply of various vehicle simulations made by a German company that just makes all of the things like that. Bus, forklift, farming, it goes on. I prefer racing simulators, though.

But yeah, the whole '18 wheels of steel... hauling... whatever whatever...' seem to be oddly fun. Secura
O.M.S.I - this is by far the best and the only simulator I've ever played.
Adler
I highly recommend Road Construction Simulator. A high-paced, action-packed adrenaline rush which rivals that of the Call of Duty series, Road Construction Simulator allows you to realize the glory of laying down infrastructure in numerous riveting and realistic levels. Oh who am I kidding, it's a piece of sh*t. Stay away from it. STAY AWAY.
Guest
So I looked at the Euro Truck Simulator video and I'm quite intrigued about the map. Is it actually a full map of that area of europe that you can seamlessly travel through (although travelling from UK to, say, Germany would require a ferry) or is it just a menu you select with a small map for each area? Sgt. Foley
I tried Bus Driver, I love it I wish some of these simulators would have free roam where you can do your own selected deliveries. Only one that I tried had it. It was Scania, which is quite similar to Euro Truck.
OysterBarron
If it's ETS2 your asking about then the only thing not simulated is either the ferry crossing or train crossing the rest is open roads. It's not an accurate map of europe but a cut down version but you can go from Germany to pairs without a loading screen as well as anywhere else as long as it doesn't involve the ferry or train!
