MosquitoSmasher
Those f*cking plans of Obama better not mess it up for this game. How about they take a look at the cause of all this sh*t? Maybe they should do something about the gun regulations in the US perhaps? Maybe parents should actuAlly be..you know..parents? Look out for their kids? Nah i don't think it'll pose a problem for the release of the game. But forget what i said about worrying about this because Spring isn't too far away and we still don't know a release date. Let's not forget how unusual this whole thing has been so far with GTA V, especially compared to GTA IV and Rockstar's other games...who's to say they won't announce the release date two months before it comes out? It's possible...it's been quite unusual. At this point anything is possible..the coming weeks should hopefully be really interesting and joyful for us fans. I Shot The Sheriff
As long as the release is still on Spring, I don't really care about the no-info treatment. In fact, all I want is a confirmed day-precise date.
S1LV3R_W0LF
Jeez, the Game was announced in 2011, it got so much coverage and you still think they need a strong marketing campaign before the launch? Let them work, they are still publishing the Vice City Anniversary junk, once they end that there will be more info about the game.
MosquitoSmasher
I read that Obama article, it only mentions games shortly. I don't think we have to worry about that thing bothering the release of the game.
Druffmaul
It doesn't concern me that "we don't know much" about GTA V yet. I don't expect R* to tell us all that much more about before release. What does worry me is how many times Dan Houser said "Well we're still trying to figure that out" when asked about at least a couple of very basic nuts 'n' bolts aspects of the game just last October. Seems kinda late in the dev cycle to say that if they really mean to finish the game and have it all bug tested and ready for release in the spring. That's not what i want to hear. Stop this please . Release the goddamn game and then let these asshole examine 'violent games' and how horrible they are, while we all enjoy this masterpiece. S1LV3R_W0LF
Stop mentioning politics and their damn personal agendas, don't get me started on all the latest BS created by them like the shooting in Sandy Hook and in the Batman Movies in order to disarm people please. There is too many BS and this is not the proper place. So let's forget about him and his clowns and focus on GTA only. Even if he "cries" about children being "killed" and that guns are bad, Rockstar will make millions of dollars and I'm sure they won't wanna miss the taxes from that. So don't worry. Capricornus
Wow MosquitoSmasher, I don't think I have ever seen you this worked up bro. I sympathize with you though man. Video games are scapegoated by the government and media all the damn time. Its really sad man. As for me being worried, I am not as of right now. If the beginning of April rolls around and there is no release date revealed, then I'd be slightly worried. Being that this is a new GTA game, I do not think they would need 3 months of marketing just so it could sell well. They can market the game for about a month and a half before release it will do well. I wouldn't worry too much man.

'The Million GTA Fan March' Put Obama through in the video game research in his '23' part plan to shut people up about blaming games. It's 1 out of 23 so it's the lowest part of the plan. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/gaming/...-games/1839879/ The only person that could stop GTA is R* since media/media is protected by the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Amendm...es_Constitution

I'm not that worried anymore man, i'm good It's just a few things that i still find odd. Like someone else here pointed out that in the cover story Dan Houser was saying 'we are not sure yet about this and that...still thinking about it..etc..' about certain features, features that are pretty standard and normal for a GTA games. I guess it just sounds odd how he said those things. But i'll quit worrying and just wait patiently for good things to happen
S1LV3R_W0LF
The only person that could stop GTA is R* since media/media is protected by the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Amendm...es_Constitution Well look again and see how many you still have, all this gun control propaganda is nothing but an attack on your 2nd amendment, and looking into the news of the last years/ months you already lost the 1st, the 4th, the 5th, the 6th, the 7th, the 9th and the 10th, without mentioning the fact that many of the laws approved for this to happen were also illegal because they weren't approved by congress. *Btw the 4th amendment is about property, illegal searches and seizure of items, it doesn't protect the media/ freedom of speech and press, the 1st amendment does that and even that one was broken time after time. But ya, money always talks louder so it won't be a problem, at least not in this year or the next 2 or 3, but I can't say how it will be after 2016 and forward, at this pace... Raynos
he urged Congress to bankroll the CDC to do research into possible linkages between violent video games and other media images and real-life violence, to the tune of $10 million. Now that is indeed a worry.. Its like the whole Smoking is Evil crap. The research done was mostly bullsh*t, the links between smoking and cancer was bullsh*t but it was passed through congress like butter through a german shiza porn star. When they fund such "Research" they are looking for results, even if a link does not exist, the CDC will create it to show the world that it was money well spent. It could go either way. Most studies have already shown that the link is very thin line, almost as thin as a baby racoon's asshole. However, there is a link but then again.. There is a link to everything. Every person you have talked to in your life has had an impact on your future decisions, even if it was a marginal effect. It is rather obvious that everything we do, defines us, however, a game does not hypnotize you to become a killer. This is bullsh*t. Obama is doing what he needs to, He needs to show the American people that he is doing Something, its just a matter of how many things get the title of "Scapegoat". sh*t happens, just deal with it. Revolution-XW
Some helpful comments in here. It's indeed true that the posters are always happening later on and we are still a good four months away or even five or six months away. It's indeed very plausible that we'll get a concrete release date with the box-art reveal, but it could also happen in February with a third trailer, if it happens in February that is. Let's say it's coming out in May. We could even get the release date announcement in March or so. I think i answered my own question...more or less..there really isn't anything to worry about yet. Nothing big in February doesn't nessecarily have to mean bad news. Sorry but you're out of your mind if you think February can go by with no release date and substantial news and still launch in Spring. We're not a good 5-6 months till launch. That puts us at June 15-July 15 you realize that right? We're 3-4 months from launch. I believe I smell something here... Of not, before..

They could always say that Violent Video Games are now Objectionable media(Child Porn, Snuff etc), the 4th Amendment then goes out the window and GTA gets banned. Heck, they might even go for Rockstar for creating such content.
