Exxon
While my friends were rocking out to korn or nirvana I was listening to zeppelin and the temptations. Me and my friend are almost 16, but we also mostly listen to this kind of music
bluetops
I spent 2 hours trying to explain what pogs were. In the Philippines, pogs were seemed to be revived. I see kids playing it. I, too, play it with friends, even I don't know the right thing to do.

CygnusX1
I think no matter how old you are at some point and time something happens that makes you feel old. I'm a 26 year old college freshman, so I constantly am reminded of how old I am. Here are some examples. I was the only person in a 28 person class that had seen Top Gun. I'm a year older than my academic advisor. I spent 2 hours trying to explain what pogs were. My funny movie quote jokes go over everyone's head making me look like a jackass-In biology:"Chlorophyll... More like bore-a-fill!" I still have all my old cassette tapes, I'm afraid to throw them away. Oye Vay What situation makes you feel old? You are less than half my age. Maybe you should spend a couple more decades before you post this.
Twang.
While my friends were rocking out to korn or nirvana I was listening to zeppelin and the temptations. Me and my friend are almost 16, but we also mostly listen to this kind of music Hate to sound like a cynic, but that's pretty common among teenagers. Classic rock is usually the first thing kids look to when they start to become disillusioned with the mainstream/popular stuff. It's an easy alternative, and about the same in many regards. Every area has a classic rock station, and it's just as bad (if not worse) than pop stations. The same 200 songs until the end of time, rather than a rotating playlist of 40 songs that changes every so often. I focus on the radio aspect because that's why teens flock to it. They try to make themselves out to be 'enlightened' by their 'choice' of listening to old popular songs that people forgot to stop listening to, but really it's just the 'other' in between pop and country as far as radio formats go. I know this because I did the same thing when I was 14/15 (in 2005), except I was also big in to alternative rock. Don't get me wrong, classic rock is musically superior to pop in every way. It's a good jump-off point for expanding one's taste to not be so utterly plebeian. Just don't get a snowflake complex because you listen to time-tested songs that are shoved down your throat by the media gradually for decades rather than flash-in-the-pan songs that are shoved down your throat constantly by the media for a few months. It's a bit like choosing chronic migraines over a savage beating.
trip
While my friends were rocking out to korn or nirvana I was listening to zeppelin and the temptations. Me and my friend are almost 16, but we also mostly listen to this kind of music I remember the shock when the radio announcer announced that Elvis had been found dead. I also remember the morning I woke up and my mother told me John Lennon had been shot and is dead. I remember paying $12 to see one concert that consisted of The Police, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Madness, with the opening act being REM(and no one know who the f*ck they were - me included). GreatGig
I just came across this on imgur and was immediately stunned into silence. Changing gears on this thing was quite possibly the most satisfying experience ever.

uzi 9mm
I think no matter how old you are at some point and time something happens that makes you feel old. Maybe you should spend a couple more decades before you post this. Well not really actually, as what he's saying is true. I am 26 too and I see exactly where he's coming from. It's funny to see how old you actually are when you realise all the stuff we know and the younger generation doesn't. Obviously fads like pogs, and tv shows we used to watch will be different, that's natural as things change as time goes on, but the time space from 16 to 26 just flew by. Now all the kids at school have mobiles, touch screens with internet on the go, when I was at school there was just 1 computer in the library , Windows 98 with the cloudy background, and that was then a top of the range thing, I was scared to touch it! I don't even think the internet existed then. When I was a kid cartoons where a day time thing, now you can watch cartoons near enough 24 hours a day on cable/sky, which was a bit of a luxury to have back in the day, we got cable once on a dodgy hook-up for a year then it cut out eventually, but that was when I was like 13 or something. I'm lucky I look young for my age. I'm surprised when I see how old some people look and they are even younger than me!! That makes me think sometimes, I'm still living like a teenager, with my parents, got my girlfriend, unemployed, still playing videogames, I need to wake up before I get to CygnusX1's age. My Mum was 25 when she had me! That's the wake up call.
