Red dead redemption vs. gta v

Yes, Rockstar already confirmed there will be dynamic missions and unique world events in GTAV smile.gif.

They made RDR really feel alive and it'd be nice to have those kind of things in V.

RDR almost felt too real. From the characters to the graphics to the random encounters, it felt like a novel.

Red Dead Redemption was quite amazing except for the fact that John Marston gets shot dead in the end

Yes I agree but his son owned the cop in the end which made it a little better for me

You're a dumbass to compare R*'s greatest game ever to a GTA game that hasn't even come out yet... ON A GTA FORUM. Some of these clowns haven't even played it because there isn't a PC version. To answer your question, I'll just throw a probably. RDR was intense, but Grand Theft Auto V is going to have elements of all their recent games, including RDR, so it's going to be curbstomp borderline epic.

1. Do you think gta v will have better graphics than rdr.

- Yeah. They're almost even, but GTA V's graphics are stronger.

2. Do you think there will be side quests and dynamic missions?

- There better be...

3. Do you think the npcs will be smart

- No. It's Los Santos...

4. Do you think the npcs will commit crimes and commit murder

- That's been happening since GTA Vice City. Of course we'll see that kind of sh*t go down.

5. Do you think that gta v will have more animals in the game than rdr.

- No.

6. Do you think the missions and story will be better in gta v?

- Missions: Not sure.

- Story: I doubt it.

RDR is as close to perfect a game has ever come IMO, and stands as my favourite of all time. I think V will probably take that post but I almost don't want it to haha. At the end of the day, V will probably beat RDR in almost every field (it does have 3 years on it after all) apart from story. I am sure GTAV's storyline will be the best in the series, but I can't see it having a more emotional impact.

EDIT: SpartanCoca Lol so true. Call me ignorant but I may just refuse to decide whether I like V more than RDR. I love Red Dead too much haha biggrin.gif

RDR is one of the greatest achievements in video game history. ANY similarities between it, and GTAV, would be great! icon14.gif

I think RDR is going to turn out to be the best thing that happened @ R* during the development of V... it will be the elements and things they learnt on RDR that will make V not only alot better then IV... but imo (hopes) will be The best game ever to date. (the last statment is opinion ofc... but it WILL be in everyone and anyones top 5 games ever of all time... strange but true!! tounge2.gif )

I havent really played RDR much but Ive heard nothing but awesome things about it. San Andreas was the best GTA game. GTA 5 looks like an epic mix of San Andreas and RDR. Overall, GTA 5 will be better, but thats my opinion.

1. No it won't, RDR had a vast open wilderness where there was not much happening. GTA V will pedestrians and cars nearly everywhere.

2. Already been confirmed.

3. Yes.

I Like IV better than RDR. i like RDR too but i can never be 100% comfortable with the running/aiming/shooting settings in RDR, as in GTAIV everything feels good..

SO i hope the running/shooting(aiming will be very same as GTAIV!

and the funny in GTAV will be the random things that will happen. drive out in the desert and you suddenly come across a car with a dead body in. cool.gif

You must be sh*tting me, right?

Shouldn't you post that as a spoiler?

Anyway, the ending did evoke a lot of emotions and imo was excellent and unpredictable. However, Jack Marston sucks and is one ugly mofo.

I'm not sure about you but I have a hard time going back to IV's shooting system after playing RDR.

The sounds of the weapons alone in RDR are top notch, I just love that authentic crack you get from the volcanic pistol.

The controls and cover system's just alot smoother. The animations of where you shoot an enemy are amazing, being able to shoot out knee caps or shoot a gun from someone's hand was awesome the first time I discovered being able todo so.

Not to mention the weapon wheel was a definite improvement over the weapon selection in IV.. I really hope this is one feature they decide to move into V.
