Matty Posted January 15, 2013 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Well, each individual protagonist has their own individual storyline arc that is intertwined with the storyline arcs of the other protagonists which come together to form a core storyline - it won't be like an entirely different game/storyline for each of the three protagonists. All up though, I can expect that the storyline of any particular playthrough of the game will probably be worth 25-30 hours of gameplay; with each individual protagonist having a 'unique' storyline arc of around 5-10 hours IMO - depending on who you choose to start the game as. And yea I knew there stories connected which is awesome i think rockstar is going to do a great job with the missions as we see in the trailer and theyre interviews in game magazines, hmm ,the comment you said which would be boring if we played 20hours mission for each protagonist then you wouldnt get to know the other protagonist. I hope each man has his missions, unrelated to the others - perhaps you can call them for help, but for the most part, they're alone. I think each character's story should be long enough to be a standalone game. Plenty of off mission things to do - not Saints Row's tedious activities, but something more enjoyable. I'm sure the game will be awesome, but I'm worried it'll be a 20 hour slice of awesomeness, not a 50 hour saga! The story should be at LEAST as long as IV, TLAD and BOGT put together imo. I dont mind tedious missions, like people complain IV had, if it means the story and missions are longer then ill be happy. The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
