Cebra
I know I'm not the only one hoping for cool, interactive ghetto activity in Los Santos (specifically in the Ganton area), but something that's annoyed me is that you could never see any people doing graffiti in any GTA game, even in GTA SA: the game of the ghetto, and surprisingly in GTA4, with the Spanish Lords and the Korean gangs roaming around. I know it was unlikely in SA because it was in 2004, but four years later you would think they'd have the ability to program some peds to walk up to a wall, take out a spray can and but a design on a wall. Even if it doesn't show the little progression of the graffiti (like seeing every little line they make with the spray can), they could show a faint marking and when they put the can away you've got a finished design on the wall. It just seems like a realistic feature to me, and considering that Franklin's story is kind of like CJ's and you'll be in the gang-populated parts of Los Santos, you should be seeing not only shootouts with the cops and criminals breaking into cars and stuff, but graffiti would have to be the most realistic and easiest to program right now. I'm sure the others are easy to do, too, if Rockstar is telling the truth about the pedestrian routine thing he said in one of his interviews. If Franklin could put some sort of sign up on buildings, that could be cool, too. I'm not entirely sure what he would put since he doesn't belong to a gang but whatever. And I know it would be really hard to keep track of all the graffiti designs, so if you passed by somewhere that someone just did graffiti you could see some cops or cleaning guys scraping the paint off the walls. Or I think it would be ok if the graffiti just dissapeared after a while. Input, anyone?
I Shot The Sheriff
The problem is that graffitis would have to just dissappear, making it look unrealistic when you go to the place and it's not there anymore.
Bluepolitician
No there is no problem. I have always wanted this. All they need is just random people spraying on a wall covered in graffiti like alot of the walls in IV. Guys spraying on a billboard or dark alley would just add to the life of Los Santos. It would be cool if a random pedestrian was a famous real life writer.
CoyT92
That's a cool idea, it would make the environment feel more alive and realistic. I miss killing people by spraying them with paint in San Andreas. A cruel and unusual sort of death, but a fun one I must say.
ill-thoughts
i agree, random tagging and shootouts because of it should occur. it would be interesting if you had a "hood wall" that you tagged...and occasionally, a guy would sneak and tagg your wall and youd have to protect it.
