WTF, didn't know her name was Vasquez. I hope she's a part of the story but I think she's just a chick in an artwork, like the one she's arresting.

I think she will make an appearance but only to show the player how much of a potential troublemaker Michael's daughter can be (i.e; during a cutscene which shows his daughter being placed under arrest by a female cop), but other then that, I honestly can not see her in any other significant role as a character in the game.

well Not Only would a playable female character satisfy the female GTA fans (lots of them)....but it would also satisfy the horn dogs (like me) that enjoy playing as a female character at times....as well as open up an entire world of random crimes to solve ala True Crime.

You're dreaming mate. Having a 4th Character would help the marketing yet Rockstar have not mentioned anything about it.

Also, a female and a cop? 2 big No's from Rockstars end.

 

Female cops fall into the same category as children. Rockstar won't make female cop NPC's. Just wont happen.

 

Anyways, thats just my opinion.

A) you could play as a female character in GTA4's multiplayer...and B) you could play as a Cop in GTA4's multiplayer

 

if R* said theyre going ALL OUT with this GTA, why would this be such a far fetched idea??? especially when these things were in the past 2 GTA's??? and especially since a female protag has been requested by female gamers since YEARS ago.

I am pretty sure this female cop ends up being like that Lola girl from GTA IV. She's just something used to make the artwork look nice. I'd like to be surprised though.

I really doubt there will be female cops in this gamr. Just like how everyone thought you could ride a roller coaster in IV just because it was in the background of the trailer.

If her name really is vasquez and R* gave her a name then she must be of some importance other wise they wouldnt have named her, thats assuming R* did say her name was Vasquez

Well you are very rude.

Lolly pop girl, a frequently used character for game promotion, from GTAIV has a name Lola Del Rio who was a character used in the GTAIV ad campaign and has a wiki page too on the GTA wiki.

She does not appear at all in the game, although she does have a LCPD crime database entry, that is it.

Just because the concept art characters have names does not mean the will be in the game.
