VHS To PC question

Hi,

 

Ok I have found a vhs tape that has my first day at school on that was featured on granada reports in 1992! and I want to get it off the vhs tape and on to youtube asap really.

 

Now the setup I have been fighting with for a while. I have a Dazzle DVC 100, VCR, PC. I have been testing it for the last 3 hours and I finally decided to swap the vcr for a dvd player and everything worked. The vcr was giving me a black screen, no audio nothing.

 

I noticed I am using a input scart adaptor with the vcr with the rca cable that goes to the dazzle. I was convinced it was a driver issue but stupid me didn't think about the whole input/output thing.

 

My question will this adaptor work with my current setup?

You wouldn't believe by this post that I run a little computer repair shop but its been so long since I hooked up a vhs player I've forgotton all basics haha.

 

Can anyone help?
