Bought Xbox 360 Slim 250gb last September for GTA V ,I'm sick of spending money on PC,f*ck that ,I have more money now to spend on games and other various things now..I'll just leave PC for MMO's ,f*ck You STEAM!! I dont really care if GTA V for PC,if it will be released will have better lighting or ssao or whatever, game will still kick ass and wont have to worry if it will run normally on my pc.

No need to upgrade for myself.

Upgraded my 4 year old graphics cards late last year to a single card latest gen (Made back £100 from selling old ones on ebay) and the year before updated Motherboard, CPU, memory etc.

I don't understand those who update every 3months to a year as no point at all.

No need to upgrade anything over here, but I'm going to buy a new desktop just to max out the game.

Well.. I recently upgraded to a i7 3960X and an EVGA GTX690, So, hopefully, fingers crossed, GTA V should run on low-medium settings, maybe even max settings at 15-25fps.

I'm buying Xbox 360 in the coming weeks. I'll play GTA IV, EFLC, RDR, GoW until GTA V will come out.

I'll play PC version too when they release it.

easily play on mid-high setting...easy...

just have about 8GB of RAM... running at 1600... and it'll be smooth.

I'm gonna buy a new ps3 since my old one died and can't be repaired. GTA V is a big incentive to buy it but it's not the only reason. I'm getting it to play again RDR and AC too.

My pc doesn't need upgrades, it's quite good. I can see myself buyng a new graphic card once the highres texture mods & co. get released tho.

I'll prolly get the game on console first though (as i'm more of a console gamer), but definitely get it on PC at some stage once it comes out. If i want to play max settings on PC i'll have to upgrade my gfx card though, but i'll still be able to play at least high settings. I have an NViDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti.

Yah, I've got 16gigs of ram running at 1866, Gskill 14900.

I can play GTA IV at low settings and get a solid 20fps!

Just bought a new 250gb PS3 super slim 2 weeks ago for V. I wouldn't have, since my old fat PS3 is still going strong, but $50 was an offer I couldn't refuse.

Seeing that the GTX690 is essentially just a dual GPU setup, like having two videocards in CrossfireX. If GTA V dislikes CrossfireX setups you and me both got problems..

2500K vs the 3960X there's a minimal difference in gaming, but you do have a powerful multitasking CPU.

I think i would have to Buy console

But you do have a Xbox360?

If you have nothing I say buy a PS3. It's better in my opinion. It's also a BluRay-player.

In my personal opinion, I would rather pick the Xbox 360 controller over the thumb-breaking PS3 controller any day. Though, you can get Xbox 360 controller look-alikes for the PS3.

It depends on the person who will buy it.

I bought a PS3. Not only for games but also to watch movies, listen to music,...

If you only want to play games (and are ready to pay for online), you should buy a xbox360

Yeah, I was kidding earlier about GTA IV only running on low at 20fps. In reality, I can max the crap out of it with HD textures and cars etc without any issues.

I think we'll be fine, however, my friend runs crossfire and he has some issues with GTA V, It seems that SLI is more support by devs.

Yeah, the 3960X helps with encoding blu-rays etc The GTX and its cuda cores help aswell, just depends on which software. I do a lot of 1080p videos, just recently upgraded to a Sony A99, does some excellent vids but 1080P @ 60fps takes a lot of grunt to encode.

Thus my PC has dual tasks, it does great and gaming.

I'll just stick with a console since I recently moved it downstairs to my HD TV, so that's gonna be balls fun to play on compared to my PC. One day though I might buy V or another GTA for PC just for the amount of mods that can be done with it. But that's only going to happen when my PC has good enough specs.

I was wondering when he'd figure out the sarcasm...

Seriously you're the first one I met that has the GTX690. That setup can run anything for the next years.
