Matty Posted January 15, 2013 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Of the three characters listed in the first post, Tommy was definitely the most powerful character - this is especially the case after he killed Diaz and as has been already stated, he owned various assets and properties all across Vice City. CJ would come in second as he also owned various assets, although he didn't have the same amount of influence in all three cities in San Andreas that Tommy had in Vice City. As for other characters; any character that has their own gang or mafia at their disposal as well as owning various business assets can be considered powerful IMO. Jimmy Pegorino, up until near his death, could be considered the most powerful character in GTA IV in my opinion as he was the head of his own mafia family and conducted considerable criminal activities throughout Liberty City. Vic Vance up until his death also held considerable power across Vice City in a similar fashion to Tommy, controlling his own criminal empire as well as various assets and enterprises. Mike Toreno - he has the government at his disposal and for quite some time, has various gangs in San Andreas under his wing. Salvatore Leone up until his death also held considerable power in both Liberty City and in San Andreas, as well as his subordinate Toni Cipriani - both of whom had the Leone Family Mafia at their disposal. IMO, I'd actually say after killing Lance and Sonny. After he does this, he basically has no-one working against him, and as such, has no-one that can stop him or get in his way. It is another reason why I'd say Tommy is more powerful than Carl Johnson as even after the events of GTA: San Andreas, he still has enemies that he has to contend with. If its 2013 in both games now allies like Avery Carrington have dided, Ken Rosenberg and Kent Paul went to San Andreas, Phil Cassidy have 1 arm and is currently in GTA 3, Hilary King died, .
