GTA V videos!

Rockstar has yet just released two videos of GTA V.As seen from the previous titles,Max Payne 3 had about 15 videos,L.A. Noire had 13 videos and RDR had 12 videos(includes trailers and gameplay series)

There is just about a 4 month period left in which the game should release.How many videos do think or want GTA V to have?If GTA V will even have about 10 videos when is Rockstar planning to release them?

Probably just another trailer or two leading up to release, plus a promotional release trailer; so a total of four or five. GTA is undoubtedly Rockstar's most popular franchise, so GTA V wouldn't really need a whole lot of promotional videos that their other games get as GTA is a franchise that basically sells itself. Rockstar have also stated that they want to keep a lot of stuff relating to GTA V under wraps up until its release - releasing a bunch of gameplay related videos prior to release, as they have done with their last few games, kind of contradicts this statement.

1 more trailer maybe, and a TV commercial and maybe some other video like IV's "Cover Art Reveal" video.

The great ammount of videos that Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3 had, were important and needed for each of these games because they are clearly smaller titles compared to Grand Theft Auto. I'm almost certain that GTA V will have nowhere as much videos as the last three games from Rockstar. Alone the facts that GTA V is Rockstars biggest title to date and the potencial to smash sales records are reason enough to not talk all too much about the game and as Rockstar stated, it is their target to surprise us and that is very good in my opinion.

I would assume they will release well over 10 videos like they did with GTA IV. You have the main trailers, then numerous commercials/TV spots, videos focusing on specific characters, video ads for in-game brands, all the usual goodness. I'm guessing none will show actual gameplay unless they plan to show how the character-switching will work in some form.

I think they will definitely show a gameplay video showing how the switch character really works!

Gaming sites like Ign and Gameinformer and others were shown a 7 min long demo.Rockstar would atleast consider a 2 min long video gameplay for their fans!

You're way off. GTA IV has 4 main trailers. Then there were individual trailers for characters: Manny, Roman, Packie, Vlad, Phil Bell, Playboy X, and Niko all had their own trailers. Then there were trailers for brands like Whiz Mobile and Dilettante. There was an LCPD recruitment trailer, Weazel News trailers, trailers made for TV, etc. Just check the official IV site and you can see all this content via the interactive map.

 

There will be many videos to come for GTA V, that's a certainty.

GTA IV had 8 videos!

Im not sure about GTA SA but I think it had 7!

And most of all these are very old titles now.Marketing in the gaming industry has changed significantly!

GTA IV actually had four (official) trailers, not two - that's why it seems logical that GTA V will also have a couple more trailers leading up to its release. Also, all of the GTA IV trailers had gameplay footage mixed into them, just from different camera angles (the same with the GTA V trailers).

 

 

Rockstar would atleast consider a 2 min long video gameplay for their fans!

They haven't done so in the past with GTA, I don't think they would start now. Would be nice, but I just can not see it happening aside from the content that is in the trailers.

I want alot of videos on the game like 10+ but in reality R* will probably only put out like 3-5 videos in total which I absolutely hate, I dont like how tight lipped they are about this game, I want to know more, I honestly dont care if parts of the game gets spoiled the final product will obviously be different and I guarantee if they are gunna show us a mission or any part of the story it WONT be a very significant part of the story
