im Very excited to see Bikes back in this game. in GTA:SA all i really used were bmx bikes, mountain bikes, dirt bikes....and with GTA5, itll be no different. my first playthrough, im hopping right on a bike as Michael and peddling around town. Occasionally, ill drive an escalade type truck just for driveby's....maybe a limo for the same purpose but my first playthrough, im biking it baby. theres nothing like peddling up a storm and then letting your bike sail around a corner on cruise control i love you Bicycle

 

how often will you use bikes??

Glad to have bicycles back but it's the motorcycles on the improved engine I am excited about. Something like TLAD but even better.

im trying to decide if i want to use a Peddle bike for when i go full out dezert and mountain biking or a dirtbike....probably peddle bike, i dont want the dirtbike blowing up when i make a 50 foot jump

Not sure. We really have no information on bicycles right now.

We dont know how fast or slow they'll be. We dont know if bunny hopping will return and if they'll be as high as they were in SA. We dont know how handling will be either.

I'll have to see how they are before I know how often I'll use them.

 

 

 

As for motorcycles, if they're generally the same as IV, I'll probably use them quite a bit.

I still hope for a better sounding Harley.

I never used them that often in SA. It will most likely be the case in V or until I get tired of jumping off mountains in it, which might actually take a while.

This depends on how they improved.

I hope there will be stunt-ramps, especially for bicycles too. That would be cool.

Beside that I prefer motorbikes to all other vehicles (in older GTA at least)

bycylces have always been one of my favorite modes of transport especially when I can use it in the mountains.

Certainly yes, HD / RAGE bicycles should be great fun and I will use them sometimes. I assume that Rockstar will include some minigames that let us make fun use of them, plus of course a couple of missions where a bicycle is necessary.

 

Maybe in GTAV multiplayer mode, people will set up some long range cross-country bicycle races in free roam. After a few weeks of that, we'll probably see a rash of finger sprains in the emergency rooms across the planet.

I will use bicycles rarely in V. Just for fun every now and then.

But you showed pictures of motorcycles in the OP so I guess I will say I will use them a little bit more then bicycles, but a lot less the cars.

I can see myself using them in the urban environment (the city) when I feel like exploring and memorizing the city map. That's what I did in San Andreas aswell.

I loved the mountain bike in san andreas, CJ can ride it on nearly 90 degree cliffs. I did also ride around the whole map with a mountain bike in san andreas. But I think I would prefer cars and planes in Gta V.

In hoping for a system that allows you to listen to the radio whilst riding the bicycles in V. For example, when you get on a bicycle, a system similar to how Niko puts a helmet on when getting on a motorbike, but instead it'd be Michael, Franklin or Trevor putting headphones in before starting to use the bicycles just as you get on.

 

Just a thought. Can't wait to see how the RAGE physics work with bicycles and such.

When i ride a bike on gta v it will be mainly to do full length cycles around the whole map. I cannot wait to ride up high mountains then look down at the view and say. ''I HAVE A LONG LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME.''.
