Triplehtheking Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 Do you think Rockstar will bother enhancing the controls of flying in V or will they stick to the same as San Andreas? I would love to see a cockpit view while driving those huge Air Liners and it would add alot of realism than having a 3rd person view... And imagine Trevor having a part time job as a Pilot and travelling people across V. If so, would be the greatest game of all time in my opinion. killahmatic Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 I own and often play flight simulators, I also play Birds of Steel. GTA isn't a simulator though. I dont mind the simple controls, I only would like handling to be a little better. Landing in SA was very awkward. & I dont want a cockpit view, but a "bumper-cam" view would be ok, and likely. I agree with my man over here, BF3 controls were way too hard and became a pain to try to master. I would even quit the game just because my jet would somehow turn on me and crash. The reason why I say optional is because I don't want to be forced to fly planes in a first-person perspective all the time. As for enhancing the flight controls - I imagine they will be tightened up considerably from GTA: San Andreas as GTA V is using a completely different physics engine to what GTA: San Andreas used. Im Thinking the F16s would be awesome to aim in the target and fly high speed with a realistic view ^^. and the big Cargo plane, would bring alot of realism into it by putting a cocpit view, would make it awesome to do takeoffs and landings^^ But also keep the other views!!! and i hope you actually need alot of speed to actually be able to take off. in gtaSA you lifted after 5 meters -.-' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

thebestgameever Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 Just for there love of god don't make the camera turn with the plane/ make the camera turn the plane or heli ( like jc2) its so bad and ruins using them IV got helis right IMO, except form not being able to do flips. Technically it's possible I don't think it's worth it BTW: Dan Houser said in one interview (don't know which one) why GTA is a third-person game, not a first person game and that this is on purpose.
