GTA V similar to Red?

Am I the only one who thinks Gta V has a lot of similarities with the movie Red? Or possibly a view of what the protagonists would look like after the events of Gta V? For those of you not familiar with the movie, Clicky

 

First, comparing the characters:

Frank Moses (Bruce Willis)- Retired Black Ops CIA agent who's forced to reassemble his old team. Smart, Has been around the block a few times and still loves the thrill of his old job

 

Michael- Forced back into the life because his wife spends all his money and he wants to feel the thrill of a good heist again. Experienced, the 'brains' of the group

 

Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich)- Was forced by the government to have daily doses of LSD for 11 years- as a result is crazy and a conspiracy theorist. Tends to be a bit of a loose cannon.

 

Trevor- Psycopath, probably from meth and other drug/alcohol abuse.

 

Joe Matheson (Morgan Freeman)- Used to work with Frank- has stage 4 liver cancer. Old, but still has a strong skillset.

Franklin- Up and coming criminal, wants to become more than the average gangbanger and start to move into the criminal underworld.
