mugabuga Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 So my brother and I have been playing multiplayer, and every once in a while, after about 15 minutes, his game just crashes. He almost never crashes in singleplayer. The only mods he has installed are a car pack, TrafficMod, and SuperTrainer. I have the exact same game files (I copied my installation over to try and fix it) and mine works fine. He just gets a gta4.exe is not responding. His specs are a Pentium G2120, Radeon 7850 and 8GB of RAM. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ja2984 Posted February 27, 2013 Share Posted February 27, 2013 I have the same problem. I'm not running any mods. Singleplayer is fine, it only crashes in MP. I found some others to have the same problem and the only thing I can see that we have in common is a 7000 series ATI videocard. I have the 7970. ja2984 Posted February 28, 2013 Share Posted February 28, 2013 Its not 100% confirmed but i was able to successfully play a MP game for over an hour tonight without any crashes. All i did was remove the OC from my CPU in the BIOS. I'll keep testing and see if i've fixed the problem or just got lucky tonight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
