Although I am most looking forward to using Trevor, I will probably start (after the initial mission/cut scenes) as Michael. I am always about finding the new fast/luxury cars first, take some for a spin, and checking out the rolling, winding vinewood hills roads (like the ones in the picture) as Vinewood is in the rich area where he no doubt lives.

Hmm... I like all three characters so it's going to be VERY hard just to play as one. But Michael captures my interest the most since he's the first one to have a wife and kids. So maybe play with him for a few hours, do a little with the other two then return to Michael.

 

But then, having the anticipation of the countryside, if Michael and Franklin are restricted to the city limits due to a natural disaster or whatever, would make that being unlocked all the sweeter.

 

If we are forced to switch at any point, that will really suck and I'd be returning to Michael ASAP.

I'll probably play the whole game through with Michael first. On my second playthrough, I'll flip a coin between Trevor and Franklin. Third playthrough will be the result of that coin flip.

Something tells me that they aren't all three playable at the start of the game. It seems to me that you probably start with one, then play the game and unlock the second, and maybe the 'territory' that he is in, and then after that the third. It's their way of blocking off the other two parts of the map at the start of the game, ya know?

Franklin:

has dog named chop

lives in average area

has access to luxuary cars from start(my fav the Adui R8 Spyder(9F)

probibly has a lot of connections

great driver

Trevor:

has access to aircraft verry early in the game

probebly also has connections for weapons as well

During your first gameplay hours of GTAV, are you gonna play as Michael, Franklin or Trevor?

 

I'm gonna play as Trevor right away. This guy seems to be a fun and interesting character. And I'm gonna drive from the desert all the way to LS, rather than fly.

I'll only play as Franklin and Trevor because I don't want to be in a house bored playing tennis..

 

I want to drive cool and rare cars, Fly planes and do crazy things.

Micheal first for me. I want to explore his house, his life, meet his kids and his wife. Take a trip around his place. I also just want to take a spin on a mountain bike and go for a little bit of travelling around Los Santos. I won't do any missions straight away. It's all about the surroundings for me when I first play GTA

Depending on how they handle the characters (seeing as its possible, if unlikely, that they'll need to be unlocked), I will probably do three playthroughs, one for each character, to get a feel for them and figure out what missions they're best suited for. Also, from my understanding, one of them is actually an antagonist in the game (from comments by Dan Houser), and I suspect Trevor is the antagonist, which will make him the most interesting for me.

 

If they have it where you have to unlock characters, than I'll probably just switch to a character when he's unlocked, and when they're unlocked switch every real-time hour or so...

I thought that too until I read IGN's meet the cast thing and Dan Houser said,

"His flaws are certainly his large ego, an inability to control his temper, and his willingness to make large moral compromises."

This has made me think maybe it's gonna be Michael that might screw them over. Guess we won't know until the game comes out, can't wait!
