ill-thoughts Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 *stands and applauds* that was Beautiful. i honestly dont believe they can improve on GTA4 by much. maybe sharper graphics, tighter less sluggish control over your character, bring back the feature to recruit people to shoot it out with like GTA:SA and Saints Row....i mean thats about it lol GTA4 was an incredibly developed title, if they bring back turf wars, drug wars, heisting, hitman missions, cop missions and so on, itll be the most complete freeroam game of All Time. ...but theyve already got 1 strike against them for not putting Venturas in the game Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't use the social club things like the editor... i think i'll be exploring it in my wait for V! It makes an already beautiful game engine look AMAZING! (1.42 seconds) Imagine you riding like that through Los Santos at sunrise or sunset. That's how they will improve on it. The sheer implementation of all the awesome RDR features like the wild life, day and night cycle, weather, clouds and heaven and so on, the ambiente that was provided so well in RDR - THAT will be in V, with that certain Los Santos vibe to it of course. And that will make just everything about this drive by scene more great. It makes the whole game greater than IV, which was already great really but the palm trees and countryside and almost constant sunshine was missing. Now it will be back, and it will make everything just more awesome. The new engine will be like the "best of" of their recent games. The shooting/aiming mechanics will be better for example. You should be able to switch your behind the cam shoulder while aiming, which you couldn't in IV, guess it was a RDR or MP3 thing. I know MP3 had it, and I loved it. Aside from that they'll add new stuff so I guess it can just improve and be to our benefit really. *brainstorm'd* Something just occured to me...now what if you could get Trevor, Franklin and Michael in the same car (maybe even Chop in the backseat next to one of them) to perform a drive-by - and then when the heat is on you can SWITCH from character to character in a fascinating way we have yet to see - From the driver, to the guy hanging out the window, to the guy on the backseat, all in one motion or whatever while you roll up on some goddamn pig and pump him full of lead. Nahmean?! I guess THAT would be a lot of improvement too. OH it would be reeeaaally awesome...holy moly But yeah, just that RDR "weather economical wild life day and night cycle" addition alone to the GTA gameplay, will make everything greater than and improve on IV I think.
