SoniX3214 Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 As the title of this topic says I want to find a texture for a .dff object which has no .txd with the same name in the gta3.img directory. I am searching for the texture of the object d_rock.dff . It has no d_rock.txd so it has to be something else. Is there a way or a tool to find the .txd which belongs to the .dff ? Thanks in advance. Open up the dff and start searching through it, somewhere towards the bottom it should have the textures in one of the sections. Keep in mind this is a fairly labor intensive process depending on how complex the dff is, but it will give you the exact texture name... http://www.steve-m.com/downloads/tools/rwanalyze/ Alternatively, you might be able to read the txd in MEd from the object.
