The gateway theory is true, but it depends on the type of person you are. Gateway drug? How is smoking a bowl ANYTHING like snorting coke, shooting heroin, popping pills, dropping acid? Weed leads to f*cking Doritos, nothing else.. Why not? Weed is a drug, and is dangerous when used too much, but it's certainly not worse than crime and murder already present in GTA. I don't think being able to smoke some marijuana in-game would be harmful. Weed is "dangerous when used too much"? Are you high? If you smoke three blunts a day, you're gonna get f*cked up. ?! I smoked more than that growing up... So what? I was a pot head. Didn't hurt myself or anyone else. EDIT: What do you mean by "f*cked up"? It's the exact question some people might ask after they've been using cannabis for awhile. It can be considered a gateway drug for two reasons(usually combination of both)... 1) Some people smoke weed and say "this is cool and now that I know at least one drug is good, I should be open to others." This is why telling a kid "weed is bad" is the wrong way to educate them. They find out you're lying about one drug, maybe the others are okay as well. 2) Because cannabis is illegal in most cases, the easiest way to purchase it is at your local street pharmacist. When I go to my dude, he also has other sh*t he'll offer me. So in my case, my weed man is the literal "gateway" to other drugs. you just gotta be smart enough to say no. It's not like cigarettes where it WILL be addicting and it will do that. It's a choice you make, know what you are putting into your body and making the decision whether to or not to do. Hardcore drugs are commonly used by the weak minded(hardcore drugs like meth, angel dust, crack). is marijuana usually a gateway, honestly probably but cigarettes and alcohol is in that same boat even if a drug dealer isn't selling it. Get you facts right. I wouldn't necessarily say that. You're putting smoke in your lungs. Weed isn't necessarily GOOD for you unless you suffer from a major disease. Get you facts right. I wouldn't necessarily say that. You're putting smoke in your lungs. Weed isn't necessarily GOOD for you unless you suffer from a major disease. But at the same time it's not terrible for you if you just smoke it recreationally. But the way it evens you out mentally and puts you in a better mood, helps with pain, with no side effects is second to none. It has no link to brown lung like you'd get if you smoke cigarettes. It's less harmful than anything else you'd take for pain or depression, that's a fact. Many man made chemicals haven't been tested long term, so how do they know long term side effects? Aspirin can kill you in high doses, weed can't. Putting smoke in your lungs isn't great, but neither are boxed foot products, individually packaged sliced cheese, and caffeine. sh*t you guys not, caffeine is worse for your body alone, than weed is. Revolution-XW Posted March 28, 2013 Share Posted March 28, 2013 I'm constantly stoned while playing gta so my character should be too damn it! yeah just think, if you can get your player to a 5, and yourself to a 5... that will be like being at 10, because 5+5. you can save so much of your weed IRL like this. L0L, good one! These are things that get me hyped for the game man. While I'm playing, I want to like get in the eyes of my player as he's doing his thing, like driving, enjoying the environment, etc... This smoking feature would add so much to the game, it just feels nice to be able to do things in vid games that you don't do IRL, just for the curiosity. It's the complete opposite here where I live, the dispensaries have amazing deals. Yesterday I picked up 4 grams of really good sh*t for only 30$. Either way it's nice just being able to walk in and cop with no troubles of tracking it down. I'm still thinking about growing like 10 plants. I hope you can actually smoke the bud that you buy from the dispensary that Franklin pockets. His "Dayyyyuum." sounded like a total pot smoker to me so I believe we can use it. But if not oh well I'll still enjoy walking into the dispensary and looking around seeing if theres bud and any rockstar humor names for each strain.
