gsbadreligion
Part of this was already in gta chinatown wars and i think it could transition nicely. Basically in chinatown wars(for those who didn't play it) you could go to a convenience store and buy lottery tickets which could give either money or even a house(it would be helpful because you can't "buy" houses). I also think they could be good places to steal from, hold a gun up to the cashiers head and demand money(or knock them out and loot the register). You could buy food for health and maybe even buy beer/wine to get drunk in public(trevor seems like the type to do this too). Highlights for the lazy people: lottery tickets for money+houses stealing(money) food(health) alcohol(getting drunk)
AdvanceTrak RSC
Hopefully they'll let you do in V as they let you do in RDR rob random people
nkjellman
House won't happen. The reason for not being able to buy houses would apply for winning them via lottery tickets. You may gain houses for each character by completing missions. However lottery tickets could be in there though. You could win money, and maybe cars. As for stealing money out of the cash register. That probably will return. It was in GTA IV (original only). For convenient stores, a few have been confirmed in an article somewhere. -24-7 -Ammunation Clothing stores may return. I don't know if each character can buy cloths like on SA and IV, or they are already in your wardrobe and you unlock them like LCS, VCS, and TBoGT. GTA V could have episodes like GTA IV did. If you play as a single character in that, there is a chance that clothing stores and buying houses could return in the DLC (which opens the possibility of winning them via lottery). But based on how GTA V has multiple protagonists, the chance of a single character episodic DLC is slimmer, and an add on to the original game is more of a possibility. jamieleng
I've been playing VCS on psp recently & there are loads of small stores (convenience, electronic & pawn). You can't do much in them, they are only there to pay you protection money as part of the 'Empire Building' system. Hopefully the comments by Dan Houser regarding "plenty of things to spend your money on" (paraphrasing) means there will be many stores with full interiors & plenty of stuff to buy. I don't want to be given a rare or unique weapon or vehicle. I want those things dangled tantalizingly in front of me, which makes me want to earn money to buy them. I'm just unsure of how they are going to start the game with Franklin & especially Michael (who seem to be far from poor) & not let us buy all this stuff from the beginning. killahmatic
Buying health would make a lot more sense than having to find the hidden ones around town. I like it. You could buy sunglasses there too, maybe a pocket knife. Edited January 11, 2013 by killahmatic
universetwisters
I want to go to 24/7 and get a banana-flavored slurpie and a hot dog relished with relish!
DzNutz
I hope every interior space is rob-able! I hope every NPC is rob-able, I hope there are banks... so i can rob those too... but i hope when I rob a bank it's a little more complicated than robbing a convenient store. I hope that scene we saw in the trailer; where the vault door blows up isn't just a cut scene.. I know it probably is but I really hope that it's available during free roam.
