Algonquin Assassin
Mafia 2 pissed me completely the f*ck off. i loved the graphics and the shooting system....but that game was probably the most BORING thing i had ever put into a gaming console. it literally had NOTHING ELSE to do besides the missions.

i can only rob a store so many times before it becomes Deathly boring.

I liked Mafia II. ph34r.gif

camera toggle views, on foot and in vehicles... they give us a fixed camera and i'm done.

if this is one of the new camera view options, i'll be so thrilled! i love camera angles down by ground level, they contribute so much more to gameplay.

I never understood why we didn't have more control over the cinematic camera. It's so fun to use the slow motion feature and mow down a bunch of pedestrians.

I won't hate rockstar for this, but I really wished they put the weight lifting mini game in the game. At this point it seems unlikely, but at the same time it seems like a slap in the face to include a gym in game that's inaccessible to the player. It seems dumb to me that they won't include weight lifting but they'll include yoga...

I'll never hate R*. I hope they don't discard the night-life. I want to go to the club or a bar and drink my ass off after a long day of stealing cars and shooting cops.

they never said they were removing that feature. you just wont be able to get big. probably just hit harder.

Everything but purchasing properties seem like realistic possibilities. icon14.gif

Revolution-XW

I don't really 'hate' them, why would I?

But yes, it makes me sad to know that we won't be getting some features in the game.

Like buying properties, customizing clothes, using the gym, etc...

That's one reason that killed the 3 protagonists feature for me, they had to get rid of things just for that.

Ill be mad if they take out sticky bombs so they can add them as DLC again

Gee whiz, a lot of people want drug dealing!?

i imagine it would be something like Scarface or Mafiya Work from GTA4 where you do a bunch of different tasks affiliated with the trade: shooting at rival dealers, making deliveries, etc....or robbing rival dealers and taking their money and drugs to sell yourself. theres definitely some potential there IF THEY DO IT RIGHT.

I hope they put in either a Spawn Code or a place that regularly spawns the Bicycles

Both in Multiplayer and in Single Player I think I'll get quite the kick out of just bicycling around. Particularly up and then back down Mt. Chiliad

I would boycott R* if they didnt put buyable properties and CJ in the game. Also San Fierro and Las Venturas better be in the game!

They've already said CJ wont be there, hes of the previous console generation and they said they wont add any characters from that generation.

Sarcasm? rolleyes.gif I hope so.

Anyways, I'd be mad if they didn't bring back IV's unique handling. I know that they're claiming they made the handling "less boat like" and that "it feels like a racing game" but it would truly suck if cars felt the same or very arcadic. GTA IV did it right, but R* had to listen to the whiners who didn't like change and most likely played NFS all of the time rather than actually trying a simulator. IV's handling was tough at first, not gonna' lie, but I easily got used to it and then now love it. It was done so well. You could feel the weight in some cars, some had ABS, some braked superbly while others braked like pieces of junk. Some had precise turning, oversteer or understeer.

It would be disappointing if R* just ditched all of IV's unique and favorable(imo) handling for some unsophisticated, crappy NFS like physics. Driving is the true soul of GTA's(imo) and if it's "f*cked up" the whole game is sort of a mess.

wow.gif Please tell me your being sarcastic! IV was terrible on driving physics. I'm so grateful that Houser said in GI that they redid the driving physics.

You probably never actually played a game with good physics have you? Hell, starting to doubt you drive.

It was in GTA: Chinatown Wars on Nintendo DS and later got out on PSP. I have to say that it was really a pleasure! I loved it. And I'd like something like that in GTA V. I wouldn't be disapointed if it wasn't there, but it was still a great feature.
