Most of the missions have these irritating chases where the guy you're chasing is invincible, and you can only kill him after going through a linear chase with scripted events like busses and garbage trucks pulling out and logs falling over or something. It's cool the first few times but after that it's lame. When I went back and played gta3 for the 10th anniversary i was blown away by how many different ways there were to kill people/complete missions in that game. For GTA V I hope they're not as abundant, but are still necessary for major characters. Imagine if we could've killed Vlad while he was in his car? We would've missed out on IMO the most meaningful cutscene in the game which exposed Niko's true motivation. For major characters scripted chases are a necessity. If they don't put in fun cheats + lots of them. Lots of modes + customisable multiplayer options. Ability to attach weapons ONTO cars + special items like bullet proof glass etc. LOTS of toys to buy etc. More but list would go on and on. I wish and hope they'll have at least ONE spawn for every car... If not, at least give us a more options in cars, not just a street full of station wagons... Yeah that's pretty annoying & there should be an option to toggle in the settings. I just want to clarify that I would buy the game regardless of what they removed. Also Firefighters need to make a return, they didn't do sh*t in GTA4, I never once saw a crew of firemen fighting a fire, or even driving their truck. Oh wait, did I say that out loud? you SHOULD hate them if GTA5 is anything less than Spectacular. with the Experience and Success theyve had with their current gen games, those should be guidelines and stepping stones to what is undoubtably the FREEROAM GAME OF ALL FREEROAM GAMES for this current gen and probably the last MAJOR GAME for current gen. they know what works...they know what doesnt...and they know what should be in the game and what the FANS want. if it sucks, you should be Personally Offended by that. BUT, I will be disappointed if they don't make true on the promise of a better in game economy. Not being able to purchase real estate, I hope that is outweighed by some fresh new mechanic that gives us something to do with the money for once. In the old games money or the economy never had any real meaning and that was a missed opportunity since they have always been spoofing consumerism and such.
