PBX was Niko's pimp, that's a fact. Niko prostituted himself every night, believe me

Vercetti27
I'm not really sure where you get the idea PBX was one of his friends. Niko's relationship with him was strictly business. Him and Darko weren't exactly best buddies though, were they? Niko killed for petty money. He was a hypocrite and it grates me when people say Niko was one of the best characters in a video game because he was so troubled and conflicted. He was too f*cking miserable, and too "real". As soon as things got tough, he had to play the victim and it got tiring by the time of the shooting at the wedding.
+ Xx--_TheHeist_--xT +
Things that I liked and disliked in Grand Theft Auto IV? I'll start with the liking stuff first. I liked - 1. The city was amazing and really good detail in my opinion. 2. The sports cars and the rest of the cars was just simply awesome with all that design etc. 3. Rockstar's sense of humor in the game. 4. Great ending don't you think? I disliked - 1. The police A.I was simply stupid in the game and the bloody shoot way too good. 2. Not enough weapons as it seems in the game, but it's worth using I suppose. 3. Cars always appearing the same, I hope Rockstar looks into this matter fact. 4. The missions in the game wasn't that all excited really. at some point? It was interesting for some reason. 5. No planes were in the game which sucked honestly, but I understand Rockstar's point. Can't they at least put an "Dodo" plane in the game for once?
Algonquin Assassin
I'm not really sure where you get the idea PBX was one of his friends. Niko's relationship with him was strictly business. Him and Darko weren't exactly best buddies though, were they? Niko killed for petty money. He was a hypocrite and it grates me when people say Niko was one of the best characters in a video game because he was so troubled and conflicted. He was too f*cking miserable, and too "real". As soon as things got tough, he had to play the victim and it got tiring by the time of the shooting at the wedding. While I doubt Niko and Darko were BFFs they obviously had a closer history than Niko and PBX. PBX wasn't a friend of Niko. He was a contact he worked for in the same vein as Vlad, Faustin etc. The only thing that would make Niko a hypocrite is if he agreed to stab one of his friends in the back and kill them for money like for example Little Jacob. In that case I would agree, but people tend to throw around the word "hypocrite" far too much. Niko's not a hypocrite. I'm not even sure why anyone compare Niko killing PBX to devalue his character and call him a hypocrite to Darko selling him and Bernie out aswell as getting the 12 others killed. Anyway the fact he comes across as more real is what makes him so great. He makes the previous protagonists very cartoonish and one dimensional. I still like Tommy, but even he doesn't stack up against Niko in a lot of ways. Niko's one of my favourite video game characters because he's not an exaggerated stereotype. jpm1
+ : - timecyc : out of words to describe GTA IV timecyc , this is one of the things that has me impressed the most in video games so far - Niko dude . i think GTA IV is going to stay installed for a very long time - characters animations . very realistic - living world . the level of realism of LC is something that keeps amazing me again and again . almost each generator has its own sound , you can ear sirens in the background . there are dozens of variants for an object type . plus the random spawning system , all this brings a realism that personnally i never saw before - made for modding . everything is made so that if you mess while modding , it doesn't have dramatic consequences - improved cars damage compared to VC and SA - : - not enough offroad possibilities . sometimes when i jump into a nice pick up i would have liked to let it go a bit . hopefully there are nice third party maps - few enterable buildings . don't know if it was made considering a performance aspect but i would have liked more restaurants . i'm doing nothing when i play GTA just driving and walking around , so i need to do breaks - i would have liked to be able to tweak sun course speed . night appearing at 19 PM it's a bit weird on my VC
Dick Valor
What I LOVE about IV: -Niko Bellic/the story -Physics engine/RAGE/Euphoria -Better integration between interiors and exteriors -Detailed map... every alley/cut has character -Down-to-earth mission concepts, approach, play strategies -Vastly improved wanted system (pay n spray requires skill now!) -Friends/girlfriends and mini-games, oh my! (loved pool and drunk driving) -Improved vigilante concept/most wanted -The side activities (drug running, grand theft auto, assassination) -The ability to rob Gruppe trucks/select cash registers -More play options than ever before (free aim, disable map/HUD, etc.) What I HATE about IV: -No parachutes, tanks, or bicycles! -No silencers or stealth -Lack of custom vehicles/police force in Alderney -Poor integration of DLC content into vanilla game (that is, none at all) -Drug running/assassination missions are finite! -Hats disappear in the car -Not all stores have interiors or same functionality (diner, Superstar cafe, Cluckin Bell, etc.) -Imperfections/glitches in traffic lights/behavior (e.g., Dukes Blvd @ Harrison), road line patterns (e.g., Babbage Drive in Alderney), unintelligibly random one-way streets (e.g, random one-way stretch of Galveston Ave, just south of Xenotime St) For the record, IV is my favorite GTA... at least until spring 2013. Algonquin Assassin
-Hats disappear in the car This has always bugged me too. I wonder why it's like that? This is something that really annoys me about GTA IV. R* done an awesome with details such as tires exploding onto bare rim and windows being shot out, but they overlooked something so simple. It's like painting the Mona Lisa and forgetting the intricate facial details. Edited January 30, 2013 by Miamivicecity

Not sure, but I just thought of another glitch that bugged me in IV: the bizarre spawning in Schottler (near where you pick up Little Jacob). A lot of times, cars just spawn in the middle of the street there. Pisses me off!

I just started to replaying all three stories at the same time again, to keep myself occupied before GTA V comes out and whenever I was doing missions for L.J. or hanging out at the Homebrew Café, I started to avoid passing trough the Schottler street because of all traffics jams (and stupid drivers that get into this jams) that this glitch affects on. Algonquin Assassin
Hmmm. I was playing GTA IV before and had this really odd glitch at the Cluckin Bell in Cerveza Heights. There were 3 guys talking near the entrance and a worker sweeping the floor. When I walked past the worker and 2 of the guys disappeared, but when I moved the camera they would disappear and re-appear depending when I moved the camera. Bizarre. Never seen a glitch like that before.

jpm1
i don't see how you could have included hats . i mean this is anything but something easy to do . each car has its own ceiling height . i believe that keeping the hats while in car would have made nasty bugs
