I mean Trevor's a redneck, he has to enjoy hunting, while Michael could be able to fish and Franklin to interect with his dog. But still how do you think that's gonna work? what happens if someone kills chop? what if we are able to hunt animals? will we skin them like in RDR? perhaps police dogs will be able to take us down so some random cop can handcuff us, or not? and about interecting with chop, maybe we can teach him skills? or we give him orders like: ''jump on that guy'', ''bark'. He seems to be a follower since we can see him riding the car on the passagers sit. so maybe we can decide weather we take him out or not? maybe we can use a leash?
