Prometheus
I don't think that Chop looks fat but rather that he has severe bones. Stop making excuses [unless you're a chubby chaser] . The sooner he acknowledges about it the better. That dog better hit the gym fast and hard.
Deffpony
Deff, you complain about so many things. If you dont like the game, just dont buy it. Simple as that. Oh and you should know not to compare artwork to ingame stuff. Thats obvious. What have I complained about??? No complaint really, I just wanna gauge ur guys opinion and see if u agree. So far seems like I'm the only one who thinks he's kind of fat. Doesn't really bother me, just an observation Edited January 11, 2013 by deffpony
e1999KrayzieBone
The dog is named "Chop," as in "porkchop," I assume. Remember the horses and bears and other wildlife from Red Dead Redemption? They were pretty incredible. I think R* has Chop looking the way they want it to look.

As long as his integration in the game is fun I really dont care. But preferablly I wish chop was a little more intimidating.

reform
It's because Chop can get fat if he eats too much and does not get walked enough. If you feed him right and walk him often he can get buff.
BlackNoise
Also, when chop is running over the hood, its legs look very short That's what happens when you jump on top of something. Do you think you would be standing straight up as soon as you're on top of the hood? And to the OP, Chop is not fat. It's just the breed. And I guarantee R* put as much work into Chop as they did with the horses in RDR. I think it looks great and the animations look really good as well. You know I think I know why I have this feeling Chop is fat. I own a rott and he is fairly slim, yet muscular. But Im pretty sure he isnt a pure bred. However looking at some more pure bred rott's I can see how they are generally stalky
ProSwervez
I know Rockstar said the characters can't change weight but,What if Chop becomes muscular or fat based on how much you take him out? thestoneman420
I usually agree with you deffpony but I have to say you making mountains out of molehills. He looks like a big dog, nothing further. I've seen fat dogs, Chop is not one of them, he's just a bulky Rottweiler. Can't wait to see his role within the game, got the poster up to my left, every time I see Chop I grin like a mad man.

But in that case I also much prefer the artwork version of michael
Capricornus
Yes, I said this to myself when I first watched trailer 2. He's a fat ass dog but its great to see him in the game. Really can't wait to spend time with him in the game.
ugotsmoked
who gives a F*CK? The dog is CGI not real. Alll I care about is can he out run even Franklin? If he can then make him this big for all I care...
Ben73
Rottys are bigger dogs. Chop doesn't look much fatter than the average rotty. Honestly I will probably rarely take him with me unless ita required for a mission or something. He may be useful in some missions, but probably useless in just as many. killahmatic
who gives a F*CK? The dog is CGI not real. Alll I care about is can he out run even Franklin? You dont want the dog to look as real as possible as long as he can outrun Franklin? Thats like saying 'who gives a F*CK if guns make doorbell sounds when shot as long as they can kill people. Cyfa
thats artwork - artwork and gameplay aren't gonna be same - i mean michael looks nothing like his artwork Yeah the artwork usually is much different in terms of character models. For example: Look at how awesome Michael seems in the artwork and look at how old he looks in the actual game.
