Shyabang Shyabang
We need people in Los Santos who speak like them. Then Los Santos would feel more like the city that it's meant to depict. I have some friends who talk like them:

Miss Darko
Yeah, this accent's fairly common all around, I mean it's pretty much just the Californian accent rather than any specific region of California, despite being named after a specific region. I don't have that tone to my voice despite being a Californian native, but strangely enough my mom does, even though she was raised around New Mexico. So it's pretty common and also quickly adopted. AtomicPunk
I don't think this is just a Cali thing guys.... There's people like this in every state as far as I know. Like, fer sure. However annoying, it should be in V.
DS 17
Even if this was in V, in which context should it be? I mean just in TV? Than it's not needed imo, because of some seconds. Or do you want these converasions randomly in the city? That would probably not work or repeat after a short while because of the conversations length. Dick Valor
Yeah, this accent's fairly common all around, I mean it's pretty much just the Californian accent rather than any specific region of California, despite being named after a specific region. Yes, but it famously began in the San Fernando Valley during the early 80s and became a pop culture phenomenon: Sadly, no Valley=major FAIL for a game based on SoCal. The Valley is not only the birthing place of this most obnoxious form of the California accent, but is also home to America's porn industry. It has featured prominently in hundreds of movies (e.g., Pulp Fiction) and it really isn't L.A. without it.

That would probably not work or repeat after a short while because of the conversations length. It doesn't matter in what context it's in. That's how some of the American girls talk. My younger sister started to talk like that when she made friends from California. Leaving out that style of talk is almost like leaving out the German language in a movie that takes place in Germany. Cyfa
I think we're essentially guaranteed to hear the accent in the game. Even Michael's daughter has a bit of the accent when she's like "oh mY GAWD" and Franklin definitely sounds like a native Californian.
